Re: catch - 22 Golden Globes nominations
There doesn't seem to be a front runner for best miniseries, so I guess they have a good chance. Pretty stiff competition, though.

Golden Globe Nomination For George Clooney's 'Catch-22,' But Not 'Dark Waters'
By JOHN KIESEWETTER • 20 HOURS AGO
George Clooney's Catch-22 on Hulu was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards Monday, while the Mark Ruffalo-Anne Hathaway Dark Waters feature film shot in Cincinnati earlier this year was shut out from the Globes.
Clooney's six-episode war satire was nominated in the Best Television Limited Series or Motion Picture Made For Television category. Clooney was an executive producer on the six-part series, directed two episodes, and played Scheisskopf, an "aggressively crazy" U.S. Army Air Force commander in Italy during World War II. Clooney's longtime writing partner, Grant Heslov, also was an executive producer along with four others.

Christopher Abbott, who played the lead character Capt. John Yossarian, was nominated for Best Performance By An Actor In A Limited Series or A Motion Picture Made For Television.
Director Todd Haynes' Dark Waters, about Cincinnati attorney Robert Bilott's investigating DuPont's deadly chemical pollution, was overlooked for best drama picture, director, and all acting categories for the 77th Golden Globe Awards to be presented Jan. 5 on NBC.
Netflix' dominated the movie nominations with Scarlett Johansson's Marriage Story (six) and Martin Scorsese's The Irishman (five). Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood also got five nominations.
Netflix also led the TV categories with 17 nominations, followed by HBO (15).

Cincinnati attorney Robert Bilott got a standing ovation on CBS' Late Show With Stephen Colbert Thursday night, hours after he was interviewed on WVXU-FM's Cincinnati Edition.
The two aren't directly related, of course, except for the fact that it's all part of promotion for Dark Waters, the movie starring Mark Ruffalo as Bilott opening Friday, Nov. 22.
