Bye bye George Clooney. Whether it's a goodbye or a farewell, the honorary citizen of Laglio packed his bags from Villa Oleandra and after the long holiday in Lario he left again on Monday as planned.
Will come back? Many thanks, PP! So there's a rumor floating in the area that he's thinking of moving out of the Lake Como house? It's a beautiful place and he's put a lot of money into it. Could it be that it has become too well known to the public?

That rumor goes around every year. I don't think he would ever leave Oleandra, too many wonderful memories including

I feel the same as annemarie. Rumors have floated for years about George moving from Como. Seems like this year we have seen even less of him and Amal than we usually do. No pics of the children. Looks like they are managing their privacy pretty well.

According to some of the announcements of folks joining the cast, filming starts in the UK on October 1, but I'm guessing there's all the usual pre-production prep going on.....

That's what I was thinking. I'm sure there's a lot to be done before the actual shooting begins and 3 weeks isn't that long. Will they be filming close enough to Sonning that he can work from home, so to speak?

Oh yes, Lizzy. The Sonning choice was great for a lot of things - about 30+ minutes away from Pinewood, and location shots in Iceland - just three hours away from London

WWHS - Many thanks for that post. I haven't heard that song in ages and I've never heard of Mario Bondi, but he really does a great version of the song.
