George Clooney and Martin Scorsese put on a giddy display as they bumped into one another in NYC on Wednesday evening.
The superstar duo, aged 57 and 76 respectively, were having the time of their lives as they giggled and guffawed outside the DGA Theater where George had just been giving a panel talk about his new six-part TV series Catch-22.
The pair were chatting away shortly after George's chat about the highly-anticipated series, which he has been teasing for some time.

George cut a handsome figure in a black leather jacket with a crew-neck black T-shirt while Martin looked slick in a grey coat.
Possibly taking tips from Martin on movie making, it was recently revealed that George is adapting Joseph Heller's satirical 1961 novel Catch-22 for a six-part TV show, in which he is giving greater prominence to female roles.
According to The Times, the 20th century tale has been criticised for it 'terrible misogyny' and its arguably demeaning depiction of women - the very few female characters are 'objectified and sexualised'.
George will produce, star and direct the show and he and co-star Christopher Abbott, 33, grace the cover of Variety to promote the new project.

Happy days: George said he only joined the project because the script reworked the original story's 'sexist portrayal of women'
Catch-22 tells the story of Captain John Yossarian, (Abbott), an American bombardier stationed on a Mediterranean island during World War II, who is battling to stay alive.
George said he only joined the project because the script reworked the original story's 'sexist portrayal of women.'
He told Variety: 'We tried to be part of the solution as opposed to being part of the problem,' describing the portrayal of women, 'terrible.'

Catch-22 features a female prostitute who is called 'Nately's w***e' and her sister, 12, who is referred to as 'Nately's w***e's kid sister.
George has given the character Nurse Duckett, played by Tessa Ferrer, 'a more complex and emotionally interesting part.'
Meanwhile, Abbott is best known for his supporting role of Charlie Dattolo in HBO's hit Lena Dunham show Girls and George admitted that it was Abbott's role in Girls that helped score him his part.

'That's how [Christopher Abbott] got the part was because I watch Girls sort of religiously,' Clooney revealed in the interview.
He went on: 'I actually went back and watched a couple of episodes of Chris on Girls and, listen, it's not fully my cup of tea as a show but that's probably because I'm a 57 year-old man.'
The actor had been busy filming Catch-22 over a nearly half a year in Italy in an effort to bring the classic novel back to the screen.

Yeah.
Always appreciate George in a black leather jacket! Liked that he paired it with dress slacks instead of the usual Levi’s
