Re: George in Vegas
Seems like he's taking a shot at being George Clooney again instead of just Amal's adoring husband. Casamigos gives him (and Rande) a chance to shine in their own right without playing second fiddle to their "amazing" wives. Good! I hope he has/had? a great time!

George Clooney and Rande Gerber Treat Their Casamigos Staff to Lavish Vegas Trip
It's good to be a Casamigos employee.
ET has learned that Casamigos founders George Clooney and Rande Gerber flew their entire global team to Las Vegas on Tuesday for the company’s annual work retreat. According to a source, Clooney, Gerber and business partner Mike Meldman flew private from Los Angeles to Vegas on their own on Tuesday.
The annual Casamigos retreat -- which was held in Cabo last year -- is currently being held at the Palms Casino Resort. A source tells ET that Clooney and Gerber are definitely being generous with their staff.
“When George and Rande arrived, the entire group had welcome cocktails before dinner at their private villa at the hotel," the source says.
And as expected, there's a lot of Casamigos being consumed between meetings on the trip. The source says the group enjoyed a private, lavish four-course dinner at Vetri Cucina restaurant and late-night cocktails at Camden Cocktail Lounge on Wednesday night.
Interestingly enough, Princess Eugenie's husband, Jack Brooksbank, is along on the retreat. Brooksbank helps oversee the tequila brand’s European team.

The team leaves Sin City on Friday.
Last June, Clooney and Gerber sold Casamigos Tequila to the alcoholic beverage company Diageo in what could amount to a whopping billion dollars. The purchase price for the tequila company was $700 million with an additional $300 million to be earned depending on the performance of the product over the next 10 years.
"If you asked us four years ago if we had a billion dollar company, I don’t think we would have said yes," Clooney said in a statement to ET at the time. "This reflects Diageo’s belief in our company and our belief in Diageo. But we’re not going anywhere. We’ll still be very much a part of Casamigos. Starting with a shot tonight. Maybe two.”
Of course, Clooney was well-known for his generosity even before his billion-dollar tequila company. Last December, Gerber claimed during his appearance on MSNBC's Headlinersthat the actor once gave 14 of his close friends -- which he referred to as "The Boys" -- $1 million each as a surprise gift in 2013.
... And the amazing monetary gift wasn't all. Gerber said that Clooney also paid his friends' taxes for the year.
Watch the video below for more on the incredible story.

George Clooney and Rande Gerber hosted a unique Las Vegas company retreat for their entire Casamigos tequila staff — where a spy said, “lots of Casamigos was consumed, with a few meetings sprinkled in.”
There was also a “private, lavish four-course dinner” at the Palms Casino Resort’s Vetri Cucina with late-night libations at Camden Cocktail Lounge. The annual retreat was moved this year from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to Sin City.
Meantime, Page Six has exclusively learned that months after debuting Camden Cocktail Lounge — as well as Apex Social Club — at the $690 million-renovated Palms, Clique Hospitality founder Andy Masi will launch a New York-inspired eatery, Greene St. Kitchen, at the resort.
Opening next spring, the planned hot spot is being designed with the Rockwell Group. It will have a “speakeasy entrance,” with decor influenced by “New York Street art” including an impressive collection as curated by Tal Cooperman. Greene St. Kitchen will launch following a planned pop-up dinner series during Sundance.

I'm based in California, maybe I could fit as a Casamigos employee. I only see men driving the Casamigos trucks, maybe I could be a delivery women. Maybe I could be a sales rep.

Re: George in Vegas
I guess that would depend, like most other jobs, on what your experience in that particular field is, and what your qualifications are like.
I drive and have from time to time been a rally driver, but the last thing I would want to do is drive a dirty great truck through the centre of cities thanks.

Way2Old - I see the woman you mean. I think Annemarie is counting the woman standing next to her. Maybe? Still not nearly enough by a lot! I was wondering if they're even aware how lily white their staff is, but how could they look at that staff photo and not be? Seems they don't practice what they preach. Phooey!

Re: George in Vegas
Yeah, maybe...
Anybody want to take bets that the men are brand managers and regional distribution directors and whatever, while the streaked boobtastic ladies are the ones hoofing it out to the venues to get Casamigos on the purchase list?
Progress, I guess. Even the sales agent positions used to be a boys-only club.

I was sort of thinking along the same lines only not quite so kind. Whatever their actual jobs are, they look like eye candy to pull in clients. Kind of like casino hostesses, only their low cut outfits are their own choice, not uniforms.

To be fair we have no idea if all the employees went so there may be more than are seen here.

I think it's funny that these are precisely the "type" that Rande used to handpick for George in their younger days of clubbing in Rande's joints.

Re: George in Vegas
Apparently he doesn't know his friend as well as he thinks he does - or George has changed a lot. Compare what George actually chose to the Casamigos girls. If Amal had come into one of Rande's clubs back then, do you think Rande would have picked her for George? Do you think George would have picked her for himself?

Re: George in Vegas
For sure, had he met Amal before, they wouldn't have gotten married or had kids. I think he would have noticed her anyway, probably dated her too, but nothing serious would have come out of that. He just wasn't looking for commitment. That's my thought, at least.

Re: George in Vegas
I think he would have noticed her and they would have gotten together. I think the right person makes the difference and age. He has said he wishes he had met her earlier so they could have had more time together.
My guess is by the time he was fifty his free bachelor wasn't as much fun as we may have thought.

It's wonderful to find the love of your life. What matters is he found love, started a family, and they can live the rest of their lives together.

Re: George in Vegas
Yeah, my opinion is that back then, George deliberately picked women he knew he couldn't commit to. Kind of a moral way of being a cad.
And I think Stacy dumping him (yes, I think that's what happened), or not being very upset by their breakup, helped hasten his realization that his playboy days were numbered. Amal has impeccable timing, if nothing else.

Other than a move by the hand of God, I don't know what else could have gotten George Clooney's attention. Amal really is an unbelievable George Clooney catch.
