Hi folks

Katie here again.  Not sure how many of you received a newsletter from Clooney's Open House?  That's an auto-generated feature thingy.  Took me quite by surprise!  

If you don't like it, you can opt out by editing your profile.  If loads of you really hate it, I think I can shut it down completely.

Oh, in case you're wondering, it's apparently scheduled to send every 15 days or so. It's delivered to whatever email address you used to register at this site. If you didn't get it, have a look at your junk folder - it may be there.

Thanks for explaining.I thought maybe you changed the format of our notifications. I didn't hate it, but I like our usual emails better - and then our usual emails came back! I guess I'm getting too old for all these new-fangled changes. They make me confoozled! 

I think if you are someone who doesn’t check COH frequently then it could be helpful and a bit more informative in highlighting info our George fans may not be aware of.  But for someone like me it’s unnecessary. I find the COH emails work well enough

I haven't received the newsletter and have never received an email . Can't vote sorry.

No, seriously. I've never sent nor received any emails from COH. Are you guys getting emails? How often? What about?

Katie- I've been getting daily email notifications about topics I "showed an interest in" since I joined COH. I thought everyone did! (Maybe it's auto-generated too?)

Aha! Ok, I think I understand now. My goodness, I was worried that somehow I'm secretly spamming you all!

I originally signed up to receive emails if any new comments were posted on a thread I was ‘following’.  I was getting so many emails every week that I changed it.  Now I just get notification of a ‘new’ topic.

Sorry for the late reply, Donnamarie. Yeah, I can see that would be mighty annoying!
