What’s it like to host a dinner party for one of the world’s most famous celebrity couples?
“They were wonderful,” Lexington businessman Jerry Lundergan said Friday about a private family dinner for the family of movie star George Clooney and his wife, Amal, Monday night at Caproni’s on the River in Maysville.
About 75 people were present, including George’s parents, Nick and Nina Clooney, who live in nearby Augusta, said Lundergan, who owns Caproni’s.
Lundergan, a former state representative and chairman of the Kentucky Democratic Party, said Nick and Nina Clooney are regular customers at the restaurant and “George has been eating there since he was a boy.”
“They were the nicest people and Amal really enjoyed it,” said Lundergan.
It seems George Clooney always finds it easy to enjoy himself. “He put on a Caproni’s apron and got into the act,” Lundergan said.

Hmmm well George didn't 'finally reveal' pics to the media. Not when they were taken without permission.
Very cute baby faces though.

Re: George in Augusta
Does anyone know if this Woman's Day magazine is the same Woman's Day that's been publishing here in the US since the 1930s? I think I read somewhere that this Woman's Day is an Australian publication and I wondered if they're affiliated or 2 versions of the same magazine.

The Australian one was has been published since 1953. I haven't found anything that says they are affiliated.

Re: George in Augusta
I read on Wikipedia that the U.S. version of Woman's Day is not affiliated with the Australian magazine. The U.S. Woman's Day is owned by Hearst Publishing and the Australian magazine is owned by Bauer Media. I have seen other stories put out by the Australian magazine that are pretty cheesy ... bordering on National Enquirer style headlines.

Re: George in Augusta
Donnamarie - Thanks. I didn't think they could be connected. The US magazine wouldn't have published those pictures. It isn't that kind of publication.
(I really am a Luddite! It never occurred to me to check Wikipedia.)
