Brad Pitt 'tells George Clooney to sober up'
Brad Pitt 'tells George Clooney to sober up'
Hmmm, a bit of extrapolation going on there. We all know George and Brad aren't best buds and unlikely drinking partners except when they happen to be in the same city as each other (which oddly, doesn't seem to happen all that often). But still, it makes an excellent clickbait headline, right?

Having recently opened up about his battle with "boozing", actor Brad Pitt is doing his best to stay on the straight and narrow, so much so that he's avoiding social situations that involve alcohol.A friend of the 53-year-old has told New Idea magazine that the star has told his usual drinking buddies, including the likes of fellow actor George Clooney, that they need to go light on the drinks when they next hang out.Brad's struggling with his boozy friends, and a friend claims Brad's "Boring." "He's starting to be a real bore," the source says, adding, "Brad told George he's down for anything athletic or creative, but he can't be around alcohol".
It's said that the War Machine actor is excited to see his pal George in London after the twins are born, but he's made it clear he wants no alcohol at the event - apparently not even a celebratory champagne.
The insider continues, "Brad's not willing to put himself into any tempting environments, and being around George when he's knocking back tequilas is his idea of hell".

VIDEO Brad Pitt is revealing all about his life after splitting from Angelina Jolie, including a confession about his alcohol addiction.
The new claims come after Brad gave a tell-all interview published in GQStyle recently, which detailed his battle with “boozing” and marijuana use since graduating college.Brad's excited to catch up with his friend George when the twins are born but doesn't want to be around alcohol. Source: Getty
“I can't remember a day since I got out of college when I wasn't boozing or had a spliff or something,” he revealed in the interview. “I could drink a Russian under the table with his own vodka. I was a professional. I was good.”
The actor added that he’d given up drugs after meeting Angelina, 41, and becoming a dad to six kids.
“I mean I stopped everything except boozing when I started my family. But even this last year, you know…things I wasn't dealing with,” he said. “I was boozing too much. It's just become a problem.”
