The house next door to George Clooney and Amal Clooney is for sale

... and not exactly next door.

This is the former gatehouse of the drive to the theatre and it's car park, so that's on one side of it  - and on the other a set of traffic lights and one way traffic on a bridge. Quite noisy I imagine.....

PAN, how noisy can it get in Sonning ... relatively speaking?

Another article on this house showed a number of pictures of the interior. It's a nice looking home but certainly not up to anything close to G's home. But I could live there.

Well, it's right on the road next to the traffic lights of the only main (but narrow) road through the village.

As one of the residents said in the papers when it was first announced that the Clooneys were going to live there, the traffic is terrible and the Clooneys should get a helicopter! Of course their house is set way back from the road in how ever many acres it is, so they aren't affected at all.

So let's put it this way. If I had £650,000 to buy a house in or near Sonning, it wouldn't be that one........

Maybe we could all chip in and time-share?

Ok PAN.  Good to know.  If I come across some spare change and looking for a new home.  It won't be that one.  Guess no one wants to live next to a traffic light.
Are there only one lane roads running throughout the town?  Interesting that Sonning has so much traffic.
