Amal Clooney's Stylist Revealed


- Recently, Amal Clooney has shown a penchant for John Galliano-designed Maison Margiela on the red carpet; she sported a red gown from the house to the Met Gala earlier this month and donned a golden Margiela frock for the Tokyo premiere of her husband's latest film, Tomorrowland, on Monday. Now, the stylist behind the newly-minted style icon has been revealed; his name is Alexis Roche, and he's worked with celebrities from Marion Cotillard to Kendall Jenner (he's responsible for Jenner's stunning turn in Alaia on the Cannes red carpet) and he's also John Galliano's life partner. Talk about a fashion power couple.




I know we find excuses.

After reading several articles, he has styled her for several recent higher profile events.  Does that constitute "having a stylist"?

He did the two events Galliano is his partner and designed the outfits, I don't think this counts they helped her for those very big events.

It was just two occasions and on both it was when she was wearing Maison Margiela.....its more likely that he worked on those looks for her on behalf of the fashion house not cuz he's her personal stylist or anything. He's John galliano's partner so he probably helped for the two times Galliano dressed her. I don't think anyone's lying here.

Not good George to give Amal credit where it not due. Or Amal to give herself credit for other ppls work. This throw shade on claims in career. Like speech she made mistake in, and THEN she say -I did not write it. We would not known  but for mistake.

He is a proper stylist because he dressed several ladies at Cannes I think and they were not dressed in Maison Martin Margiela or Galliano or something. She's probably going to hire a stylist on more occasions but I don't think for every event she goes to.

Thanks PAN for following up.  I don't care if Amal uses or occasionally uses a stylist or not.  That is very much her business.  If G says she doesn't that's good enough for me.

This is the rag that has them getting divorced every other day. I think Amal gets advice from designers whose clothes she wears, but I don't think she has a stylist. If she does she should fire her/him for that Pocahontas dress she wore in Augusta. Kentucky may be suburban/rural but it is part of the 21st century.

Because the one I see has been posing like a pro with the A-listers and traipsing her relatives across red carpets and movie sets like a kid with a new backyard playground. WTF are these idiots talking about?
