I do hope supermodel Christy Turlington's long legs help her run like the wind in today's Virgin Money London Marathon – because if she does George Clooney has promised to compete next year.
Christy, 46, is running for her charity Every Mother Counts and has bet her friend she can finish in under four hours. 
George, 53, says he'll run next year wearing one of her organisation's T-shirts if Christy can do it.

The Mirror is reporting that Christy Turlington finished the London Marathon in 3 hours and 45 minutes. Well done Christy.

George had better start training for next year.

Are motorcycles allowed? Because that's the only way I see George completing a 26-mile race course a year from now.

Now the Independent and the Radio Times are saying that a rep for George has told them that George didn't say he would run the London Marathon next year.  

Hopefully there will be other opportunities to see George in his shorts

With his back/neck injury I don't see him running 26 miles. The pounding his body would take in that scenario wouldn't be worth the potential re-injury to those areas.
