I know we have a thread about "Meeting george" but i can't find it. I'm not lucky to find things today
Anyhow. i have seen George too when he was in Berlin for the MM premier. I even got his autograph (and Million others too). It was fun.

I was at a Newseum showing of Good Night and Good Luck just a few years ago. Nick Clooney hosted the program and George was one of the guests. He looked awesome. Dressed very smart. Suit and striped tie. I have to say he looked very much like a politician. He knows his crowd for sure. He was charming and his usual self deprecating humor kept everyone in the audience laughing. Had a seat close to the stage. It was great!

I saw him
twice
before the VENICE FILM FESTIVAL
he stopped
he looked at me
I gave him a present
he signed and gave me back
i told him no
"this is for you"
he grabbed and gave to Gio
he finished the line
came back
went to take pictures
I was there
somewhere in the crowd

WOW IM....lovely memories for you to tell
your grand children then !
Thanks for the lovely pictures.
I know we both love GN&GL and George
was robbed of a Director's Oscar.
As was David for his wonderful portrayal
of Ed Murrow. It was good to see him in the third
Bourne film.

I'm sure you all have great memories about this. I have never even seen a "celebrity" from my own country up close, let alone a star like George!

Re: Has anyone here already seen George in person?
Thanks for all your sweet memories.Haven't seen him as his trip to Shanghai last May promoting OMEGA was too confidential that it was almost impossible for me to know where and when he showed up.
Disney please bring George to China for a premier or just a promotion event, and I will be there!
I trust Disney to do so because here is the second largest market at boxoffice and the A-lister promotion plays a key role for such a tentpole.
Looking forward to seeing George on the red carpet!
