Thanks for posting this video Sevens. I hadn't see it before. George is being his usual cool self  but honestly I think he should have been intervied on his own (some stars do that) because Amal is ruining the interview by constantly moving around, playing with her hair or tossing it.  I assume she is nervous but she is fidgety like a school girl.

I love their expressions when the interviewer on the right talks about George being humble for a minute as if it were an instruction!

Something lost in translation maybe, but other mere mortals would probably have walked off........

I missed that sentence PAN. Yes, it sounds like the male interviewer asked George to be a little humble for a second. George smiled. He handled that well.

IMO

Didn't lose anything in translation for me. The interviewer may have meant to say something else but if he did it came out all wrong.

What came out sounded not only like an instruction but also like a "dig" at George - intimating that George was not usually humble when it came to his work or achievements.

Perhaps a better way to ask the question would have been, "George, I know you're not one to brag about your achievements - you are a humble person - but where do you think you have made a contribution in the entertainment field..." that would have gotten to the essence of what he was probably trying to ask George without sounding like he was insulting him in the process.

The blue background in the pictures above works really well is....Stunning...really compliment his hair and tan.....He should wear blue more....shirts..... not T-shirts...imo.

Yeah, she was kind of twitchy.

Personally, I think she half-assed her hair (as opposed to Florence and Venice, etc), so in addition to her first US red carpet appearance she was a little self-conscious.

Yes another talent that George has.  Adjusting women's evening wear.  Remember he did something similar for Elisabetta at the Oscars on the red carpet when she wore her red evening gown.  Same gown he had to stitch up.
He is so handy to have around.

Unfortunate couple of shots. She could've at least looked at him like she appreciated whatever the hell it was he was fixing on her dress. She looks like Her Imperial Majesty being tended to by a manservant.

I really like this shot  ( she types with sarcasm.)  .  Who said she doesn't like the press??  Dead- on look into the camera with the 'come hither" look.

Poor George, he looks like a hen-pecked husband.  It seems like he has to cater to Amal like she is his child.  I think she has to come down off that pedestal that everyone has put her on.

Well it's better than him stepping on it which is what he usually does. I think he is a very attentive husband good for him.

I thought it was vintage.  Did I get that wrong?

In an interview (can't remember which one) she said that she'd researched it and found a photo (and I think pattern) of a vintage Dior haute couture dress, and they made it for her from that..........but don't quote me on that, Fava

Then 'How are you?' to everybody and then gives a shout to a photographer he knows in the crowd and with a big wave of his hand as if to say 'look!' says 'Joe, I'm a married man!'
