Did George Trend?

After such a fun packed 6 months following George and now Amal...it was finally great to read a really original post.

Not remembering the source but it was on a site which Love to Hate George and it gets quite funny...all the comments etc...

There was a lot of talk back and fro about George and in particular his wedding to Amal and the celebrations.

When this classic came out.

Did George indeed trend?

I say yes....I was on facebook and I saw it happen! 

God knows if he didn't he certainly deserved too...lol..

He may not have "trended" on social media but he sure as hell did in the press and on tv. For a while there we were drowning in G&A. It was almost too much even for us! (Almost - IMO there can never be too much George!)

There were several days when he was first or in the top three of "trending" on yahoo. It peaked during the wedding weekend, of course, but it's happened since then too.

Have no idea about the social media sites. Can you "trend" on those if you're not on them?

Hot articles just pop up on your wall, yes. Amal everywhere. 

He was trending on Twitter during the marriage dates. So yes, he did trend -- I'm sure -- in various media.
