Re: George Clooney at the Carlyle hotel NYC
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2786842/The-honeymoon-George-Clooney-appears-fine-form-steps-New-York-minus-wife-Amal.html He is in NYC!
Marriage suits him! The honeymoon may be over but George Clooney appears in fine form as he steps out in New York minus wife Amal
He was married less than two weeks ago in a lavish ceremony in Venice, Italy.
But after spending some quality alone time together holed up in their new sprawling country estate in Berkshire, England - forgoing a traditional honeymoon after their destination wedding - it was back to work for the actor come Thursday.
And sadly that meant leaving his British bride behind as he jetted to New York, the star still sporting that newlywed glow as he was seen emerging from the Carlyle Hotel.

He's still got that newlywed glow! While their honeymoon may have come to an end sooner than expected, George Clooney looked happy and relaxed as he emerged from New York's Carlyle Hotel on Thursday
Despite prior reports that they wouldn't be heading back to work until next week, it seems that the honeymoon ended sooner than expected, with the 53-year-old in the company of his publicist, Stan Rosenfield.
While surely missing his 36-year-old wife, Amal Alamuddin, the Gravity star appeared to be in a great mood, a huge smile splashed across his face as he continues to bask in his new marital status.
He even divulged to the waiting photographers that the honeymoon was 'good', the actor notorious for being tight-lipped when it comes to his personal life.

Spring in his step: The 53-year-old sadly had to leave his British human rights lawyer wife, Amal Alamuddin, back in the UK as he returned to the States for business, though he was still sporting a natural sunkissed tan following their destination wedding in Italy
With the wedding festivities having taken place in the historic Italian city, he was still looking nice and tanned, not to mention relaxed.
Seemingly heading off to a business meeting, the two-time Oscar-winner was dapper in a smart charcoal suit worn with a matching shirt that was unbuttoned at the collar.
A pair of black dress shoes and some funky sunglasses featuring green and brown patterned frames and orange-tinted lenses completed his look.
He flashed just a glimpse of his new platinum wedding ring as he carried his phone in his left hand, before putting it in his pocket for safekeeping.
With two new films in the pipeline - thriller Money Monster and comedy Hail, Caesar! - which are both currently in pre-production and slated for release next year, the star presumably has plenty of preparation to do.

Suited and booted: The two-time Oscar-winner looked dapper in his smart charcoal suit and matching shirt, which was unbuttoned at the collar, paired with black dress shoes
He recently wrapped shooting on sci-fi mystery Tomorrowland, which will drop on May 22, 2015, with fans getting a first look at the futuristic adventure flick on Wednesday.
Writer and director Brad Bird teased as to what viewers can expect, telling Entertainment Weekly: 'We begin our movie asking what did [the future] used to be? What's good about the future and what's scary about it? And we wrestle with those things in a slightly mythical way.'
Co-writer Damon Lindelof, of Lost and The Leftovers fame, adds: 'What Hogwarts is to magic, Tomorrowland is to science: They are both easy to find if you are a wizard and very difficult to find if you're a Muggle.'

Too cool for school: The Hollywood heartthrob sported funky green and brown patterned sunglasses featuring orange-tinted lenses over his eyes, while he gave a glimpse of his platinum wedding band as he carried his phone in his left hand
He continues: 'Walt Disney is not a character in our movie, but he is referenced as having some involvement in this mysterious place called Tomorrowland, as a huge futurist and aficionado of space travel, rocketry, cities of the future and space travel.'
Clooney stars as failed inventor Frank Walker, who is now very much a hermit, alongside Under The Dome's Britt Robertson in the lead role of Casey Newman - a teen who stumbles upon a mysterious pin that turns her life upside down.
'There is a piece of technology in this pin - it's the kind of old-school pin you would wear on your lapel - and when you make physical contact with it, you have the illusion of being physically transported to another world, and that's how Casey gets her first glimpse of Tomorrowland,' Damon previews.

I bet the sunglasses are from Amal. They're a little quirky but he looks great in them!

I agree he does look old, it may be the way he is combing his hair. He also seems to be all hunched over.

I don't like it when he wears like that. The part goes up and over - in my opinion it makes him look older. I like it when the part is just over, like he wore for the wedding.@Cece42 wrote:I agree he does look old, it may be the way he is combing his hair. He also seems to be all hunched over.

The pic is in the link which I posted above. It is the second picture, the one where George goes into the car and tries to close the door. You see a guy next to him looking away from the paps.

Re: George Clooney at the Carlyle hotel NYC
I agree - I think he looks GREAT. I love him in those sunglasses. The shade of the lenses suit his skin color.
I also agree that he looks a little older, but not in the face or hair -- more in his body language.
