George Clooney leaves Asanebo after dining out with a group on Thursday evening (February 27) in Studio City, Calif.

The 52-year-old actor was recently seen holding hands with a new lady, and rumor has it, the two may be an item. Her name is Amal Alamuddin, People reports, and the two stepped out for a Monuments Men screening.

“They were holding hands,” Harry Ettlinger, 88, one of the World War II soldiers who inspired the film, said to the publication about the White House screening of the movie. “I said to myself, ‘George, you did a lot of good things and you sure know how to pick them!’”

Can't wait to see him back in Oscars especially in acting category. Oh, if he hadn't won in Syriana, he'd have won in the Descendants as the Best Actor.That' my guess. I was moved into tears every time I saw that movie. Performance of George's career!
Or, a director Oscar would just be fine.(which I feel is more difficult for him than Best Actor)

He is not attending the Oscars he has said he will be working in London.

Annemarie - I know what he said, but things change - and he never said what he would be working on in London, so maybe he postponed "it" for a few days so he could stay in LA and see some of his friends while they're there for the awards.

He said it on....I think Letterman.....although I thought I also heard him say Spain in one interview....so it may be just a line....

Yes, I remember, Letterman asked him if he would attend the Oscars, and G replied no because he will be working in London. The video from Letterman is somewhere on this forum.

I have my doubts that he's off to London to work. I think he made that statement for some privacy and down time. He knew he wasn't going to the Oscars and rather than say "why should I go when I wasn't nominated for anything?" he opted to say he would be in London working. We know Tomorrowland has wrapped, so it would be a new project. He may be going to be with Amal, maybe not.

Oh we all know he's headed to London for a little play time, if he is in fact dating her. He has bee so busy and worked so hard, he deserves some rest. I say enjoy yourself, George. We love you and want you to be happy.
