Summer here for me nearly, so just used the razor, my too white legs finally saw some sun today, so hopefully after a few weeks of that they will match my arms.

It's razor time all year round here! (actually one of those epilator thingies)

I'm stuck at home - was in a car accident earlier this week and I'm on some heavy duty muscle relaxants so I'm spending most of the time sleeping. Good thing though guess that's exactly what my body needs.

Oh I also take no responsibility for any posts I may make while on the drugs! brahahahaha!!! Ok that hurt.

Mostly muscle sprain which has led to muscle spasms - took spinal x-rays yesterday so hoping nothing is cracked.

It gets fatiguing to sit too long so I alternate between sitting and lying down. And when it gets too bad I take a pill. But the pill does knock me out so I'm sleeping quite a bit. But guess that's best.

Just taking doctor's advice and resting as much as possible.

Snowing here too and it is grey. But I don't mind. I can eat all that great naughty Christmas sweets and hide my fat belly under a big warm jacket. Can't do this if it's summer LOL

Yes sounds horrible Lorna... get well soon! With the little snow really bad traffic here in the rush hours. I don´t understand where all the cars are coming from all of a sudden. And slippery so I´ve seen couple a small accidents.

As to snow, we don't get it here in LA but boy or boy that rain sure has created havoc.

Multiple car crashes on the freeways yesterday. Unfortunately with several deaths involved. People forget that driving in the rain, especially the first day, is more treacherous because the roads have oil on them and the rain with oil just makes them even slicker.

I guess I'm happy I'm at home and not having to drive in that mess out there.

To anyone who does have to drive in snow - leave early, drive slow and stay safe!

Any chance for a sizable lawsuit out of this thing, as in compensation for pain and suffering and med bills and time lost from work, loss of conjugal privilege, short term memory loss, long term memory loss, complete memory loss - also known more technically as amnesia, diminished future earnings capacity, whiplash, loss of fertility (oh wait, that might be a plus).....anyway......oh honey, the list goes on and on.

Oh, okay, that's just the paralegal coming out in me. Hope you feel better soon and remember, a good stiff drink will definitely make those muscle relaxers work more effectively.

What a great weekend, Lakin is back and on fire and Lorna is at her humorous best - needed a laugh today - keep them coming.

Someone in my family took a DVD to school for show and tell, its called Maxim Cars or something like that, he thought it was about cars, well he is 8 and quite literal. Well it is in a way, lovely semi naked ladies washing cars with lots of soap and their lady bits - I almost died of humiliation when the school rang me and hubby is still recovering from the ear bashing I gave him - luckily the Teacher previewed it before putting it on the big screen in the classroom - can you imagine I would have to go into witness protection......ffffaaaaarrrrrkkkk

Lorena you guessed right, both have been avoiding eye contact with me. My son said sorry for taking a movie without permission, he doesn't know what the fuss is about! A part of hubby thinks this is hilarious, men!!

Jo I probably saw Cool Hand Luke, is that Paul Newman. I watched this DVD, bunch of women washing a Cadillac with their soapy boobies (wearing bikinis) and dorky music in the background. Ridiculously stupid so yep men would love it!!!

Lakin, you crack me up about the lawsuit stuff. Sadly for me, the guy that hit me last March when I was coming out of a grocery store, didnt have much insurance, and in Cali, you cant sue someone directly bec they will file bankruptcy and then you get nothing. I am waiting for the lawyer to settle with the guy's insurance (I may get one or two thousand) and also waiting for surgery on the torn ligaments and tendons in my knee, shoulder and wrist. But the wait to get free medical at (Olive View) hosp is 12-14 hours. Like I got all day to sit in one uncomfortable chair to see a doctor. Pretty soon I will have to tho, so I can schedule the free surgeries

You know, Deb, I paused as I posted that to Lorna, thinking how that scenario is some people's reality - an accident that either temporarily or permanently alters their life. I just wanted to play with Lorna because she's always got such a good humor. But I hoped that no one would be offended by it, and while I'm sure you weren't offended, I just want to go on public record that it is a very serious matter, especially like in your case, where the person liable is un- or under-insured.
And as I've said before, you're an absolute marvel at how you've remained through all your tribulations to be ever cheerful and giving. A far better woman than me!

Learned something new today. Learned what Biscoff spread is. Joanna, Katie and party animal prolly know already, but it was WAY new to me, and I'm a foodie hobbyist. The recipe for the ultimate pumpkin pie was on Yahoo and Biscoff spread is listed as a topping, along with whipping cream. Turns out it's a "cookie butter" and made my mouth water when I goggled (right, Lorna?) how to make it from scratch. Mmmmmmmm.......you Brits know the good stuff!

Well in figures.

Went back to work yesterday and one of my supervisors looks like he's gotten the flu - of course he didn't figure that out until about half way through the day. So guess who just woke up coughing? He was probably spreading germs all over my desk while I was gone!!

I should have just stayed home and taken this week off too.
