Our final goodbyes to Cindigirl who passed away 29 May 2013

Cindi! Just saw your post. I miss you and your sense of humor. I can't believe they still don't know what's going on. So so sorry. As a new stomach issue fellow traveler, I know how hard all the tests they're making you go thru are and how exhausting the whole thing is. That card from your friend was beautiful. I join everyone else in saying how much we miss you, how much we hope you start feeling better and how simply amazing you are to have your sense of humor still going strong. You are an inspiration!

Anybody heard from cindigirl lately?

No, not for a few weeks but we're still praying for her full recovery. We might get word from her granddaughter Sara soon...fingers crossed, hoping that we do anyway!

Yes, Lighter if you have a personal contact, I'd love to know how she's doing as well. I think about her every day and hope things are looking up.

Someone else has a contact with her granddaughter through FB (I don't do FB) and I'm hoping they might hear something positive soon. I'll let you know if they don't post it here. Sara has directly posted here for Cindi once or twice, so maybe we'll hear again soon that way. But keep Cindi in prayer nonetheless Oof.

I'm sorry to have to say that there is very sad news about cindigirl.
Our lovely, funny friend passed away on Thursday 30 May.
I miss her so much.

Didn't know her, as I'm new to the forum, but I pray God's eternal love and divine comfort to her family.

That is so very sad, what a sweet lovely woman, I feared that she was ill, may God bless her and keep her.

God bless her and her family , at least she's not it any pain now and she is in the hands of god. May god have mercy on her soul .

Thank you the mini's...that was beautiful and so very true. We now have a beautiful angel watching over us and when we lovingly think of her, she'll know. She was truly a beautiful soul and will be very missed.

I just hear the news.... I´m not post lately, I just read the posts, but I want to say that has been a shock.
She was always friendly and fun. I´m so sorry... There is another angel in heaven now. God bless her and her family.

I am truly saddened to hear this. Cindigirl was one of the first to welcome me to this forum and encourage my participation in it. She helped me acclimate to the different personalities of posters and always answered my questions, no matter how naive' they were. I remember her being playfully embarrassed at the cruder comments and then for fun, join in just a bit. She had a great sense of humor and, as much as I could tell, was a woman of integrity and morals. I never knew her to be unkind, rude or snide to anyone, even when she spoke her mind. She was a true, devoted fan of George's, evidencing a genuine care for his wellbeing and a very good knowledge his celebrity and personal life. I always looked forward to her posts and will miss her very much. May her soul rest in peace eternally.
Please let the family know, Joanna, that she affected others for good here on COH and we are all the more blessed because she crossed our paths for a time.

How very sad. I hadn't realised until I read this thread today just how gravely ill she had been. I too always enjoyed her posts. She was such a lovely lady and agree she will be sorely missed.

Wow, all the posts here and then the pic from Lux. I had to stop and cry a bit. I cant say anything that hasnt been said already, but my heart is sad and I have said my prayers for her, her family and all those that grieve. I agree, she is in Heaven, but not so much watching over us. Me thinks she'll be watching over our George quite a bit now. She gets a front row view of him.

I,m so sad, sitting here with tears rolling down my face. Have missed her and will continue to think of her often. What a special person and never got to met her. Best to all her family, COH will always remember our cindigirl with a smile.

I'm so sorry that we've lost cindigirl. She was always a bright and happy person, always looking looking at the positive.

I can't believe we're not going to see her online again. She's one of those genuinely nice people who, without ever having met her in person, you just know you'd like.

I'll miss her hugely.

I have not been on the Forum for a bit and was so sad to hear of Cindigirl's passing. She and I had started Pming because we both got sick about the same time. She was such a lovely person and had such a hard life. In spite of that, she was a kind hearted and sweet person who had a wonderful sense of humor.

Her posts on COH were ones that drew me to the forum in the first place. She could be ironic and funny without being mean spirited and her posts were always so interesting.

I cannot imagine the sadness her family must feel now and hope they know she was loved by a whole lot of people who never even met her. I will miss you Cindigirl.

Ditto. I hadn't even seen the Illness links. Not until today did I see this thread. I don't know how I missed it. Guess there was too many times that I wasn't here.

I too thought she did seem like such a nice person. I hope all in her family have all the help they need and make it thru this time of grief and sadness and just remember all the good things about her. And for all of us here, we are one less member, one less love, who shared our fandom with George. She will be missed. But I do feel that she's aware of us and smiling.

So sorry to hear about Cindigirl. She will be missed. I too enjoyed some of the witty things she said to me when I first started. I too face my own battles right now. Currently, my transplanted kidney is starting to reject, and I will spending a couple of nights in the hospital to hopefully save my new kidney by getting my body to accept it once again as a part of the happy Katie body.

I told my lovely living donor that her kidney must have said something mean about George Clooney, and my immune system invited her to leave by starting to eviction process. You know how sensitive us Clooney fans can be. We can talk constructively about his life and mistakes, but if a stranger comes in and does the same, we fight them off.
So now the course of action is to pump my body with heavy steroids and force my immune system to OK with my new kidney saying "No, The Good German really wasn't that good and No, He didn't deserve the Oscar for Batman!" In addition, my new kidney has to learn that the ktsue body will always love George Clooney, his movies, and all that makes him the cool guy we love." Once a Peace Treaty is signed, my new kidney will be allowed to stay and my immune system will learn to love her again after several months.

Really so sad to hear about Cindigirl! It is even tougher to think of when you are in the hospital facing your own battles with mortality. I know the doctors can't predict the future, but I really need to save this wonderful kidney of mine. Please, consider praying for my new kidney. I also would like to live and see all these GC movies ahead of us without being hooked to dialysis machine or you know dying. As always, I would also LOVE, like the rest of us, to get some physical contact like a call or visit from our favorite George. Hey, I am in a hospital bed, I can dream can't I?

I didn't know Cindi'Girl but have seen her posts. Saw this on twitter put they gave her name and I thought no that couldn't be her. God Bless her and hold in his arms forever.

Very, very. From all the posts I read from her, you just knew that she was such a lovely caring lady........I felt so sorry for her when Hurricane Sandy hit and she was on her own in the dark.......so sad..

Cindy girl has just found the true meaning of love.. God bless her and her loving family..

I will miss seeing her comments and her beautiful avatar. I hope her family can draw some comfort froam the knowledge that she is missed by a large community of people who valued her as a person, even though they never met her.
