Mr Leonce's surprise as George Clooney lookalike hand-delivered his package last week

Delivering parcels is all in a day’s work for Hollywood star George Clooney. Elwyn Leonce of Carterhatch Road, in Brimsdown, had the surprise of his life on Friday when the celebrity lookalike hand-delivered a package to his front door.

The novel stunt was organised by delivery specialists Hermes to mark the fact that Enfield is one of the fastest growing areas of the country for home deliveries.

Mr Leonce said: “I was totally shocked when I opened the door and saw George Clooney standing there. He’s been in some great films, so it was a nice surprise and really made my day.”
