Njet, it is advent, x´mas, holiday month! So busy with all the decoration, christmas stuff: markets, little x´mas´, baking christmas bisquets, cakes.... increble - I am so christmas person, I get all excited about it...

Clooney could play the santa who visits my house - I would not mind... I guess.

So no it is not George Clooney month at all....

@best, i am sure advent has something to do with the church and must confess i don't do that kind of thing anymore. I only inherited the guilt complex, i like to skip the middle man and go straight to the big guy myself. Least i am not a hypocrite and show up on just the big one's C & E. Lol. Christmas and easter. @joanna, are you talking to me or best? Either way i like the way the ENGLISH say happy christmas, makes me think of john lennon whn sang oh happy christmas. I don't really think george as santa would come to my house unless he dropped of a bag of coal. I like the way Dutch tradition Sinta Klaus and riding in on white horse.

yeah santa would have to bring tree and all trimmings, i don't do the holidays anymore.

Being Christmas person I am not religion at all. So advent means only how many candles to light, nothing more.

Santa claus, on the other hand, I´m a bit more sensitive. He is important!

I do take time to make Christmas cards etc. with signets and the tree, I have to get it myself no plastic trees for me.

This year I'm trying really hard to cut out the stuff that makes me crazy around Christmas, and concentrate on the celebration of friends new and old. Somehow, I get caught up in getting presents for everyone, decorating perfectly, baking for others and suddenly Christmas has come and gone and I'm just tired! This year we've already gone to some very funky bazaars, a school concert and this weekend we are off to the big city to visit with friends, go to some pottery shows and shop in our old neighborhood.

I'm determined to bring the Merry back into Christmas!

Oof, sounds good, too many times I get caught up in making sure everyone has the right gift, have huge family so its very expensive too. Christmas Day comes and goes so fast and I end u wondering what all the fuss was about!! We have Christmas morning at our place for our kiddies, then lunch with in-laws, multitude of nieces/nephews, then drive to see my family, its a big huge day and I have found that there are times I've forgotten what the whole day is meant to be about, the religion aspect of course, fun for the little ones and family. Gosh I'm tired now just thinking of it!

glad all can bring merry back, but alot of depressed homeless people without any family so it is nice to try and do what you can and i am sure as sweet as all of you sound you mean evevrything in good way and are blessed to have family and friends that love you and you love and want to do for..so to all of you may this one be extra happy and merry for you who do so much for others....god bless.

Oof oof: I know, I know. It is not a merry feeling to be all burn out apre christmas! (after all the cleaning, cooking, baking, decorating, gift wrapping, christmas cards...) And on on top of that January is a month to DIET!

But I can´t help myself. I am ok, if I have thrown the tree out before February. Decorations I can easily just change to green and yellow for the easter...

I didn't mean I "MISSED" Mr. Clooney like longed for him as the rest of you guys..hahahahahahaha, I meant I NEVER watched ER or his earlier work, and I don't have HBO so that is how I must have missed all the hoopla craze over him. I had a life once and am just finding it again, plus this is my first fan forum? I am more impressed with his work on humanitarian side then if women find him sexiest man still..lol.That's all relevant to who it is you are in love with, some find their present mates the sexiest, even GASP dare I say more than GC....if I was in love with someone then they would be "my sexiest man alive."
