G as Former Pres Bill Clinton????
Bill Clinton picks George Clooney to play him in theoretical biopic Posted by Glenn Yoder June 1, 2012 11:30 AM
If a film is made about the life and career of Bill Clinton, who would the former president like to see cast in the lead role? George Clooney, with Meryl Streep playing his wife, Hillary.
In an interview last night on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight," Clinton sat down with film studio mogul Harvey Weinstein, who was filling in for Morgan. Weinstein asked the ex-president about his favorite films before quizzing him on which actor he'd like to see depict himself.
"Gosh, I don't know. I would trust your judgment more than mine on that," Clinton responded, as Weinstein offered up two of Hollywood's biggest names: Brad Pitt and Clooney.
"George Clooney is at least more my size," he said, after declaring Brad Pitt "too good-looking." Clinton agreed with the guest host that Clooney is also pretty good-looking but added, "you could put bulbous things on his nose."
While he struggled to pick an actor to portray himself, Clinton didn't need any suggestions from Weinstein coming up with an actress to play his wife, the current Secretary of State. "Meryl Streep," he replied.
Watch Clinton discuss his casting choices, as well as the first movie he ever saw, 1952's "High Noon." And tell us, if a movie is made, who do you think should play the Clintons?

I don't think that George even remotely resembles Bill Clinton. An unknown should be cast into the role, if they can find someone who looks like a dead ringer for Bill Clinton.
MM- Ooh, Mr Clooney!

MM,
Does not matter if G does not look like Clinton, only that they hire could makeup artists, craftsmen, and a knowledgeable cinematographer. An "unknown but skilled" actor wouldn't generate enough instant publicity for the project. Clinton knows that G can "greenlight" it and not make him look bad. Remember when Diana Fossey (sp) wanted then popular Brooke Shields to play her? LOL

Paging George Clooney: Bill Clinton Wants You to Play Him on the Big Screen!

Call it Confessions of a Presidential Mind.
Appearing on Thursday night's edition of Piers Morgan Tonight, Bill Clinton was asked by guest host Harvey Weinstein the ultimate of hypotheticals facing former presidents: Which Hollywood star would he like to see play him in a biopic—Brad Pitt or George Clooney?
A smiling Clinton chose Clooney—particularly after watching the latter's Oscar-nominated performance in The Descendants.
"He was so good in it, so real," said the prez, adding that the 51-year-old actor could do it with the aid of a little ole Hollywood magic they call prosthetics.
"You could put bulbous things on his nose," Clinton added.
In a bit of self-deprecation, the erstwhile commander-in-chief noted that Pitt was "too good looking," despite the seeming requirement that modern-day presidents have to look great on camera.
Poor Brad.
George better get cracking on his best Bubba impression, including that famous Arkansas drawl. But he's certainly not the first to play our 41st president.
Dennis Quaid is the most notable thesp to take on the job, playing Clinton in the 2010 HBO movie The Special Relationship, about Clinton's dealings with British Prime Minister Tony Blair. And John Travolta essayed a character based on Clinton in the 1998 comedy-drama Primary Colors.
Clooney is no stranger to political dramas, having played a governor in The Ides of March and cowritten the script and starred in Good Night, and Good Luck. And he's pretty active in politics too, having recently hosted a fundraiser for President Obama that netted more than $15 million for the latter's reelection campaign.
