The George Show - Summer Series - Como Edition 2012

Rinse and repeat from last year

With all the usual upcoming commentary on George in Como for the summer again, I thought we could again use a place to keep all the sightings, pap shots, tweets and rumours straight and separate from the normal article posts about his films, Darfur and Stacy (which will all most likely get their own posts). The aim is to keep all the information about his whereabouts and what he is doing over the summer all together in one location for easy access and updates. It also means that we won't swamp the "Where is George now" post as we know where he is (Como), just not what he is doing.

Now we just need George to turn up already.

He hasnt ridden his bike since dating SK. I wondered if maybe she was afraid, or more recently, if it is because of his elbow thing.

Right.

On another site someone saw him on his bike around the time of his birthday (no one on the back) so hopefully his elbow is better now.

He has been "Out of Sight" for some time now. Wonder what's up?

I would like to see George doing some of his old activities that he is so fond of doing, like riding his motorcycle along the streets of Como. Italians are so fond of riding their motorcycles, mopeds, and Vespas, that, it seems that it is their preferred method of transportation.

I always thought they rode these vehicles because gas prices are so high there.

If you knew Italy would understand that even if the gas came to $ 10 per liter Italians should never be on the bus! They buy cars from 240 KM per hour and can travel up to 130 kph on motorways only!

I am going to Lake Como on Tuesday. I will keep you updated on any sightings

Thanks for Como video Jo - You know, Italy is very beautiful and all but I wonder about the hazards of living by a lake or on a hill. One earthquake, severe storm or landslide and it could be sayonara.

Well, Cindi, you are correct in feeling so. With the recent earthquake activity that took place not too far from there a couple of weeks ago, and, given the pattern that earthquakes tend to erupt close to the epicenter, it is a possiibility that the Milan-Lake Como area could be next. Not to be pessimistic, or to have a Murphy's Law mentality, but, it could happen....

Thanks for understanding MM - as I've gotten older I've become more, I guess, 'realistic' in my view of things. Truthfully I prefer the way I used to feel, like with a 'whatever' attitude which by the way has many times gotten me into trouble. LOL But with age comes realism and paranoia.

I read somewhere that George is TERRIFIED of earthquakes!

I believe there were land slides near George's villa either last year or the year before that. Some one correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, I know he's had at least one earthquake experience in LA when his pet pig Max saved him when his house was hit. He called Max his earthquake survival kit.

I am in Italy now, sdtaying near Laglio and I have not seen George anywhere...

Lake Como is an amazing place though, I really dont want to leave. I am thinking of another trip in August, perhaps the weather will be better then..

Yep. GTC and SK together mentioned to a Greek reporter that they were off to Greece this summer. Nice and warm there now

it must be nice to be wealthy. George is able to book a last minute flight to Greece (probably using his frequent-flyer miles), so it wil not be a major financial expense. I could never do that.

Stacy hasn't tweeted in over 24 hours so it is plausible they are on there way or have arrived in Como. The paps will let us know.

Cloudy morning, afternoon sun and clouds but not very warm rain and wind from 18.oo am not a good time and will be the same Laglio

I guess Stacy won't be getting much alone romantic time with her man. He brought some of the gang. Stacy has that fake smile on and Ben's wife looks like she can't wait to get off that boat. I think Stacy knows there are paps nearby. Grant might have come so they can write together , a working vacation.

strange green salad dress....

Does she have to completely strip down when she has to pee in that thing or does it have a secret trap door in the crotch? Oh wait.....to many visuals just flew through my head with that last sentence.

Ok I am in a semi snarky mood....stuff going on in my life that is not fun....but I digress....

semi snarky because I actually like how he looks (which is why we are here) and for the first time I see them as a couple.....

now for snark....Ben's wife is in jeans and dressing like I would dress and SK is in a designer outfit....which I am sure will be written up somewhere ....she looks like she should be in the Hamptons....(see snarky)....there was a website that tweeted about her leather jacket and purse from her outing the other night....the jacket retails at over $800 and the purse is over $700....which made me want to gag. I am struggling to buy my brother out of his portion of my parents house (my other siblings are deferring because I have lived here my whole life)....my car is giving me trouble and the last piece of clothing I bought for myself was a necessity....

Don't mean to be a Debbie Downer but like I said a bad day...seeing him usually makes me feel better but as he looks good with her today....not so much....off to deal with s**t....
