George Clooney and Stacy Keibler - how much longer?

We already did a poll to vote when they'll split (results here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] but almost all of the voting options are past, so I'm starting this afresh.

Vote above, and if you like, you can share your thoughts below.

Note: it doesn't matter whether you think they're true soul mates, a casual couple, friends with benefits or completely faking it for the cameras.

The point is, for whatever reason they want everyone to believe they're together and I'm asking when you guess the split will come.

Interesting that there is no option to vote for next year...

George probably doesn't care who he f#!*, so it will be over when she is ready to move on. Stacy got the attention and career boost (she wanted). She was on the cover of worldwide magazines, smiled next to other A-listers, for her there is no need anymore to be with Clooney.

Pictures of GC and SK in mexico (for me the present ones, not old), demonstrate a willingness to continue for the summer season this bond, otherwise George would disappear, revealing the usual rumors of misunderstandings etc ... .
It remains a mystery to me why no gossip sites, but above all, no news (that do not mind having the photos), have so far commented on this fact .... well we have to suppose that they will be tired of supporting GC and Stan game, knowing the truth?? Let us see tomorrow.....

George has said his relationships last three years he's had a one and two year. I think Stacey may be the three year girl.

I will begin this by saying I was never a fan of EC; however, I thought they seemed hot for each other and they looked good together. In the beginning of their relationship it seemed as though their hands were always on each other, they were very close, kissed, whispered to each other, and were otherwise romantically affectionate. George looked at her like he was completely smitten. When they were in Cabo they almost always walked together and usually held hands. They seemed in love. IMO they broke up because she told him she wanted more and he didn't. I also believe he was seeing/ communicating with Stacy more than just casually before he and EC broke up. Stacy was in Europe the better part of last summer (at the time of his birthday and before he and EC split). There was a picture posted on May 9, 2011 on her FB account showing her boarding a private jet in Nice. I don't think Stacy had the kind of money to be flying around Europe all summer on a private jet. With Stacy, I see friendship. He looks at her like he is crazy about her in a "friendly" way, and he constantly makes jokes about her which implies friendship, but not romantic love. I think this relationship will work for him for a long time - Stacy is just another friend who he can poke fun at, travel with and be in public with without having to "protect" her as he did EC, and who can service whatever other needs he has. On the other hand, I believe Stacy wants marriage and/or a baby. I think she will hang in this relationship and hope that marriage and/or a baby will subsequently be George's idea (or at least she will make him think it is - remember her interview for Fixing Pete where she said you had to make a man think it was his idea to change) and when/if she realizes this isn't going to happen, she will end the relationship when she feels her biological clock is winding down quickly. Maybe she keeps her god daughter around so much hoping George will warm up to the baby and want one for himself.

Also think she was around before break with EC, wouldn't be surprised if she didn't want to know unless he split up with her.. Academic, really. As long as he's happy

I didn't vote on timeframe, but I think Stacy will hang on with George until she decides she wants to start a family. And if she's your average woman she will. She's young enough to have children now but her clock is ticking and she should make up her mind soon. IMO

I agree. I think that she will be around for a while too. I like them together. This does look more like a "friends with benefits" relationship but if that is what they both want, more power to them!!

I don't think Stacy really wants a baby - she's too interested in partying and promoting herself. However, when George gets really busy again with all his stated projects, there will just be casual hook-ups like what saw with the very few visits Eli did to the Ides set (maybe) and the Descendants and the American sets (actually). Stacy has the ability to go off on her own with her girlfriends and party much better than Eli did. So I don't think we'll see alot of together time between George and Stacy and then she'll crop up again when she needs to be seen with A boyfriend.

I agree with you Melbert, I think she is a real party girl and not interested in marriage or children right now. That talk of marriage and children might even be for the press and not really what she is thinking deep down or it might be part of the image change. I think George is in between projects right now and when he gets busy, we will see less of her and we will see her from time to time on vacations. If she wants to be taken seriously, she is going to actually have to work. It will be interesting to see if he takes her to the red carpet events of Gravity or will he escort Sandra.

Really no idea when or if they'll split. George actually said they he would consider marrying again if I'm not mistaken but I'm just not sure that Stacy's the gal. She seems really fun-loving and nice but I'll bet she doesn't challenge him.

I mean do you seriously think they have any serious and meaningful conversations about his humanitarian work, for instance? And she just doesn't seem to be the type of gal that gives a shit about politics.

George hasn't dated any woman in the last few years that challenges him intellectually so until he does I doubt he'll marry. See George can get most gals to fuck him - women probably press phone numbers at him all the time, but I think if he ever does decide to marry - not only would she be beautiful - she'd have to be smart too - but in a complementary not confrontational way.

I think that is a telltale indicator of their time together. George has said that the first couple days of his vacays are spent sleeping. The statements by prior posters that their relatioship is "friends with benefits" seems to fit.

Just read all the above comments and I'd have to agree with LornaDoone. That's they way I see it GTC has been offered so much in his last 20 or more years that he probably is tired of. That what Sk is there for to keep some of the women at a distance. If he stayed with someone for a period of time she'd have to be more than sexy.

Very good point lucy. I think at this point in his life he may be tired of sexy all the time. (Don't laugh ladies, it could happen). I think who would attract him the most would be a woman with whom he can talk serious politics or human rights.

the only propositions remaining were the end of Mexico holidays (that's like... right now, so that was a tough vote), and then engaged, or married (which is ... hard to imagine...) so go to november ! (though, would it make a difference if it's october... ? or the month after...)

There is no choice - I say by the end of March 2012.
Although it does look like 'her' holiday is done. Therefore, it could be over as of whatever day that picture was taken.

Mm, I noticed the ring a while ago (filling up her car etc.) What intrigued me was that it was always there in her 'private' moments, but never at 'public' events. Yep, she could have had it forever. Always the same one. Just an observation

I noticed the ring too it just seems like a plain band pretty sure George doesn't give any of his girlfriends any sort of rings. I think she has been wearing it for years.....I wear a plain gold band which was my mother's wedding ring I got it when she died. I always wear it!

IMO they've been together for well over a year. Stacy and Geoff Studs (errrr, I mean Stults) broke up the middle of 2010. George met Stacy while she was on DWTS and allegedly told her that he thought she should win, he was a fan, etc. I'm just speculating, but I would guess George has a "bucket list" of women - always scouting for the next potential GF. I think he probably had his eye on Stacy (as it was rumored he did on EC prior to their hooking up) and as soon as Stacy and GS broke up, George probably began initiating his exit strategy from EC. Or maybe he and Stacy had even planned their respective break-ups. They don't look in love to me, but they definitely look comfortable with each other and have for months - indicative of their being together much longer than publicly known.

I have the piers morgan interview on my DVR and he said nothing of the sort, Didn't even talk about when he met his girlfriend. Piers was talking about his girlfriend only. Please tell me you are not another fruit loop joining this site, this time from camp Stacy.

really you think they look comfortable together? I have never seen a more uncomfortable couple. there is no physical closeness or anything that indicates intimacy. So he holds her hand, big deal I have male friends that I hold hands with and we are definitely not a couple. I think people have this crazy idea of George hunting for women in magazines. Wasn't cray cray on DWTS in 2006 or 2008?? took a long time for him to plan it, plus he wasn't with Elisabetta then so why not make a move when he was single?? just saying!!!!!

He probably didn't make a move on her then because she was with Geoff Stults. I believe they were together for ten years. I just think he had his sights set on her (or added her to his bucket list) a long time before they even got together. That's just MO. Also, I said they look "comfortable" - not in love, not romantic, but comfortable. I think they are at this level of comfort because they've been together longer than is publicly known. Also IMO George picks GFs who he is physically attracted to only, probably because he doesn't want to risk falling in love.

The hunky actor and his pro-wrestler girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, are on rocky ground. Form an orderly queue, ladies!

It’s the news that will bring hope to every single woman who’s looking for love: George Clooney and his latest squeeze, 32-year-old ex-pro wrestler Stacy Keibler, are on the verge of splitting up. And, according to sources close to the couple, the relationship will be over within weeks. “George and Stacy are barely speaking at the moment,” a friend of Stacy tells US magazine Globe.

“She knew dating such a huge star would never be easy, but lately things have come to a head, and she’s feeling like nothing more than a decoration for his sleeve.” Tensions date back to the Academy Awards in late February, with George, 50, reportedly uncomfortable in the presence of his publicity-seeking girlfriend, who appeared on the American version of Dancing With The Stars back in 2006.

When he attended a glittering White House state dinner to welcome British Prime Minister David Cameron on March 14, Stacy was not in attendance. Nor was she with him earlier in the month when he protested at a rally in Washington D.C., where he was arrested, along with his father, for crossing a police line outside the Sudanese embassy.

According to a source close to George, Stacy’s absence is no coincidence. The actor is getting fed up with her alleged desire to share the spotlight and break into acting.
