OH dear, it looks like there could be a new celebrity feud in the making!

According to the Daily Star Sunday, George Clooney and Brad Pitt have fallen out because of a spat between their girlfriends!

The two actors have been pals for a while, but their friendship is apparently falling apart because of a rivalry between Brad's partner Angelina Jolie and George’s girlfriend Stacy Keibler.

The feud allegedly started when Stacy wrote on Twitter: "Brad Pitt wouldn’t be bad to look at every day.”

Angelina was apparently very upset by the comment and according to witnesses, led her to cold-shoulder Stacy when the couples met at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.

The argument escalated when, during a pre-Oscars interview, Brad was asked if he could beat George, he said: "I say give George all the trophies. In fact, we should invent some new ones and give him those too.”

Most people thought Brad was joking around about his friend, who has already won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his film Syriana.

But a source close to George and Stacy told the Daily Star: “George didn’t think it was funny and views it as another salvo in the war of words.

“George and Brad will be on tenterhooks because neither of them wants this to continue but they are defending the honour of their women."
