How Real Housewives of New York City's Carole Radziwill Feels About George Clooney's Marriage to Amal

The Real Housewives of New York City's Carole Radziwill, who revealed in 2012 that she once dated George Clooney, has nothing but praise for his new bride, Amal Clooney, whom the Hollywood hunk wed last September.

"I think it's fantastic, and when anyone falls in love it's a good thing for everybody," Radziwill, 51, told PEOPLE at Thursday's Love Heals 2015 Gala in New York City.

In a 2014 episode of the reality show, Radziwill commented on the relationship she says she had with Clooney, saying they dated "a million years ago, literally, during the Eisenhower administration."

Fast forward to the present, and Radziwill says Amal "seems like an amazing woman, and he's a really great guy – really amazing guy."

As far as Radziwill's current dating life is concerned, "I've been having a good time. I always have a good time. Life is good," she says.

On April 7, The Real Housewives of New York City will return for season 7 on Bravo.

Weird. I wonder why they bothered to ask her about Amal? Is every one of George's one-night stands going to be dragged out and quizzed? Ahh, I see now: they're promoting her show and using George's name to do it. Sigh.
