Hope everyone is enjoying the last hurrah of summer before we switch back to business as usual. It’s so hot and steamy here. Feels like the middle of summer ... not the end. I’m just about ready for some cool and crisp fall days!

By the way I don’t know if anyone has seen the movie ‘RGB’. I haven’t but it supposed to be excellent. Anyway it’s being shown stateside on CNN tonight st 9:00 pm.

I didn’t remember to watch but tonight the cable station TCM televised the AFI award show honoring George. Anyone else tune in?

Donnamarie - I know what you mean about the weather. It's like a sauna here. We're not expected to cool down until the end of the week. Until then we drip!

Saw most of TCM's broadcast. It was better the second time around. Loved the interviews with him and the movie clips.

Missed RBG. Do you know if it will be rebroadcast? Maybe online somewhere?

Lizzy, it looks like CNN will repeat on Sept. 9 at 8:00 pm and again at 10:00.

Yesterday was by far one of the worst days of the summer. Out 10 minutes and started sweating! The rest of the week no better. I think we get rain at end of week so maybe that’s when the cooler air sets in.

It’s me I don’t know if the AFI honors show is on YouTube yet. I’ll let you know if I see it there.

Eerily quiet around here these days.... The Venice Film Festival is on.... Oh! for those heady glamour filled evenings, sparkling wine sparkling conversation and the crowd screaming Georgio Georgio....

The whole world has changed look around.... I wonder if this is a universal challenge....just like the Wizard of Oz.... we all be it a Continent a Country or just a Movie Star you or me... We all are challenged to find our way home ....and the truth....

And just like the Wiz is it really in our back yard....the yard we left...

Life is difficult to navigate when actions are rooted to the unthinkable.

I believe truth is abstract to an absolute point.

Navigating life's abstracts to reach the truth can be daunting.

However.. finding Truth at its root is peace that surpasses all understanding.

George Clooney sparked my interest during "Syriana". He has done many interviews, the one everpresent in my mind is the one where Julia Robets interviewed him. After that interview, I began to really pay attention to his life's journey.

I live with ENORMOUS responsibilities.

I live my life in what I a know to be truth and I search through the abstracts to find truth.

That way, when I'm confronted with lifes' unthinkable actions, I can rest in truth that surpases all understanding.

A lot has been said about my life, however not 1 person took the time to confront me directly with questions and concerns.

As a Bible Believer my expectation is to be confronted directly with questions and concerns others may have regarding my life. I understand people of the world may not navigate life using Biblical instructions. Twisted perspectives others impose to my life have no impact, becasue I know the truth regarding my life. Living my life in that truth, brings peace that surpasses all understanding.

Julia asked him another question about God. That question is not in either of these clips. I'm not 100% sure, however the question was something like do you believe in God or what are your thoughts on God?

I remember he referenced thinking about the "God" question when he was in the hospital after the Syriana accident. During that time he was able to reflect on a lot of things. I seem to remember he was interested in exploring more about God; it definitely made me take notice.

Sad. I can remember when he was a young stud in a relationship with Dinah Shore and later there was his relationship with Loni Anderson. He was also the first man to pose for a nude centerfold. (I forget which magazine - I'm sure it'll be in his obit.) He was always fun to watch. Too bad he's gone.

Thanks it’s me! Nice post from Ryan Reynolds. Yea, I remember that centerfold ... from Cosmopolitan magazine. It caused quite a stir among the womenfolk here in the states. Very Happy

I understand Reynolds downed a few vodkas before that photo shoot. Reynolds was a pretty cool dude and a solid actor.
