Rihanna stole the show at the Ocean's 8 premiere in NYC when she arrived wearing this Givenchy number. The Bajan beauty exuded elegance in this midi length stunner which she teamed with a pair of barely there sandals and floral shaped earrings.
Part of the Fall 2018 collection, this purple confection ticks so many boxes on the trend list from the one-shoulder silhouette, to the asymmetric hemline to the undulating ruffles that cascade down the front of the garment.
And we can't get enough of that metallic sheen. Sadly you'll have to wait until next season to get your hot little hands on this number but you can shop the latest pieces from the brand at NET-A-PORTER by clicking right.

Au natural: Throwing caution to the wind, the darling diva went virtually makeup free with only a slight smokey eye and deep berry lip
According to reports the pop star ended her romance with the Saudi businessman, after supposedly 'tiring' of him,
A friend of the musician told MediaTakeOut.com: 'It's over... Rihanna broke his heart. That's what she does, break men's hearts. Rihanna just got tired of him. She gets tired of men sometimes.'
Rihanna had never confirmed the romance, thought to have started last year, but had spoken of being in a serious relationship in interviews.

The movie centers on Bullock as Debbie Ocean - the sister of George Clooney's alter ego Danny Ocean from the previous movies in the franchise - who assembles a team of jewel thieves to pull off a daring heist at the annual star-studded Met Gala in New York City.
And Rihanna had a role in creating her movie's character Nine Ball - a street-smart hacker with dreadlocks.
In a recent Vogue article, the movie's director Gary Ross remembers brainstorming ideas for her character after one of her concerts in 2016 and coming up with the idea to make Nine Ball a Barbadian native.

Very Happy I never thought Helena Bonham Carter would be the most "normally" dressed on a red carpet! Does anyone else think Rihanna's dress is familiar? I seem to remember seeing it somewhere in a pale mint green, but can't place it. Love Anne Hathaway's gown. Wish Sandy had lost the feathers. And WTF is up with Sarah Paulson? OMG! She must have a night job as a lighthouse!

PS - Was this article written by Rihanna"s publicist? Everyone else seems to be an afterthought. And why are those three underwear models even in the article? Phooey!

Way2Old - I trust your judgment so please let us know what you think. I've seen two reviews so far. One was a rave and the other was a fail. Not helpful.

I intentionally haven't read any reviews. Too many critics have their own agendas, especially when it comes to women and to franchise films. But the trailers look fun. And most of all, it's the cast: five actors who as a rule make good choices in material, and one of them is one of my favorite comic writers; diversity in culture, artistic genre, and race; and from what I know, every single one of them has done something badass, either in career or personal life, or both. I'm there.

Don't have time for a real review, but my opinion is that this is a fun film to watch, and will probably do well. The biggest flaw, I think, is that some of the characterizations only skimmed the surface, but that's probably a function of the size of the cast more than anything else.

I think it actually could have been a good heist film even without the Ocean's connection. Eight women pulling a jewelry heist. But the comparisons would still be there, I guess.

Spend the money and go see it.

Cate Blanchett joked with RTÉ Entertainment that George Clooney begged for a part in Ocean's 8, but her co-star Sandra Bullock said no to the star.

Clooney led the cast in the 2001 remake of Ocean's 11, which went on to become a trilogy with a star-studded line-up of some of Hollywood's biggest actors, and now Sandra Bullock is taking over the mantle in the female driven follow-up, Ocean's 8.

The movie sees Bullock play Clooney's character Danny Ocean's sister Debbie, and while Danny is mentioned in the film Clooney doesn't appear, and apparently his good friend and Gravity co-star is to blame.

"George begged, he begged to be in this film and Sandy said, 'No, there's just no room'," Blanchett told RTÉ Entertainment.

Joking that she is "basically George with a wig" Bullock added that she might reconsider saying, "Maybe the next one, if he's good."

Bullock said Clooney wanted the Ocean's 8 cast - which also boasts Anne Hathaway, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna and Awkwafina - to have the same positive experience he did while filming the Ocean's 11 films.

"I don't ask George how to do his job and he doesn't ask me how to do his job, he knows better than to interject, but he just wanted us to have a good time," Bullock said.

"He wanted us to have the same experience, unfortunately we didn't have the bar that they did on set, we didn't get done at five in the afternoon like they did so they could go out to dinner and drink..."

Ocean's 8 hits cinemas on Monday, June 18.
