Dunno if this is a real sighting or a hotel creatively promoting itself?

One hotel guest literally bumped into the star

He’s a Hollywood A-lister, Oscar winner, activist and philanthropist and is particularly popular with female film fans … and he’s been in Cornwall.

Yes, George Clooney … THE George Clooney … was spotted in Newquay last month. It is believed he was staying at the town’s Headland Hotel though the hotel wouldn’t comment as it “protects the privacy of all guests”.

One visitor to the Headland told Cornwall Live they literally bumped into the star of Syriana and Gravity.

She said: “I bumped into George Clooney (literally) about three weeks ago. I was there for a conference and walked straight into him. He smirked and I was livid, but I didn’t know who he was until I got into the conference and everyone was talking about him.”

George Clooney and his British wife Amal
Geoff Ramm, of the Global Speakers Federation, posted on Facebook, from the Headland Hotel, on February 9: “If an A-list celebrity Hollywood god or goddess were to email, call or walk into your business, what would you do? What would you say? This is one of the first challenging questions I will ask audiences.

“Last year I worked with the entire team at the stunning, multi award-winning Headland Hotel in Newquay, Cornwall. A few days ago who happened to walk in? One of Hollywood’s biggest A-listers!"

He added: “A real gentleman the team told me. But the best comment I heard was from Tim who is the most outgoing, warm and friendly concierge legend you’ll ever meet. He proudly told me in his soft Brummie accent, ‘Everyone is treated exactly the same from me’. He meant it and I believe him.”

Let us know if you bumped into “Gorgeous” George in Newquay too.

That would be my guess. I wonder how close they are to filming.
