George Clooney: "My wife forced me to draw a line on a dozen friends" [ITV]
By Chris Harper December 28, 2017 at 18:00
Closer: Today, you are married and a father. Who would have thought that one day!
George Clooney : Yes, is not it? Who would've believed that ? To tell you honestly, not even me ... not even after a drunken evening or even under torture! (Laughs.) This proves how much human being is capable of everything. I am showing that I am a monster that can change! Just thinking that I am now a married man with two children, I feel like I'm in the fourth dimension. For some time now, I have been feeling the first man to set foot on Mars.
C.: Exactly, how has your life changed since you started a family?
GC : I'm not sure that my life has changed so much since I was a father. I think the change came about most when I met my wife . I had to buy myself very quickly driving to just have a small glimmer of hope to seduce her! I really had to work a lot on myself. It is not easy to seduce a person when they are so much better than you in all areas.
C.: What did you have to change, for example?
GC : First of all, I had to sort through my friends. And, yes, I can tell you that it really took cleaning! (Sparkle laughter.) My wife forced me to draw a line on a dozen friends who were, according to her, "not very frequent." But honestly, what I had the most trouble doing is adapting to my life as a young groom. No more motorbikes between mates when Madame does not work! Finished too the evenings too watered which one forgot half the next morning! (Laughter.)

[size]At 56, he declares "no longer the age to play the playboys in the cinema". From his love for Amal to his amazement in front of his twins, George Clooney confides in Closer.

Thanks HairyHound for the find and thanks melbert for the translated text. It’s a puzzling translation though and it’s hard to gauge what was actually said tongue in cheek.
Donnamarie- Possibly more Clooney than George himself

Most of it sounds pretty straightforward. He had to clean up his act to get Amal - no more boozing or bike trips with the guys when she's not working. Seems fair. I wonder who the dozen friends were that she didn't think were "very frequent" (whatever that means! ).
