Bello come il sole, così elegante e hollywodiano, anche con la polo bianca e le scarpe da ginnastica, George Clooney, è apparso in piazzetta a Torno. E ha fatto un certo effetto, un bell’effetto. Lui, l’attore più inseguito del mondo,che si deve murare in casa a Villa Oleandra a Laglio, perchè i paparazzi lo perseguitano, stavolta invece era in giro senza essere costretto a scappare da nessuno.

Perchè Clooney era lì, a due passi dai comuni mortali che non l’hanno importunato ma gli hanno fatto una foto che gli rende giustizia. Non come quella dello scoop del giornale francese Voicì in cui sembra più vecchio, con la barba bianca e con la pancia, che invece nella foto di ieri è sparita. Anzi sono sparite, la pancia e la barba insieme.

Maybe a fundraiser for Trump? It's the only way they could get him in range - promise him money! (Just kidding. George wouldn't do something like that, although there are days I wish somebody would!)
Maybe George was checking out a venue for the vow renewal. Venice might be too much of a circus for them to do it there - if they're really doing it at all.

This is a place Robert deNiro has visited. It's lovely. The restaurant sits in the grounds of the hotel much like Villa d'Este on the lake but it's smaller. I suspect they were sussing out for security too.......there's a ferry stop nearby - tho not in the evenings.........
