Suburbican in Germany

If anybody's interested (probably Nicky):

The German 'Suburbicon' trailer is out, and I have to admit that from the US trailer I wasn't sure what this movie was all about, now it's much clearer for me.

The release date here is November 9th.

Does anyone know the date in Venice yet...I've googles but nothing....

I may be wrong, but I thought it was the first week in September.

the Biennale in Venice is from August 30th to September 9th (I just googled it and also read that it is believed that Suburbicon will be the opening film on August 30th).

Where can we watch the German trailer?

carol this is still the same version of trailer...I thought you was refering the German trailer as something quite different with more new footage...

the US trailer left me with lots of questions, I hadn't understood that Matt's character might have borrowed money from the mafia which he might not have returned, and that that might be the reason why his wife was murdered.
Now I at least know more about the plot, still nothing about the details, and definetely want to see the movie.

CarolH...your so sweet. I know when it's on....I'm a bear of little brain and I discovered Venice um 3 years ago now at the Gravity premiere and have booked that time of year ever since....Mostly 'cos I can hang my hat on the weather being OK for me right then end of August the VFF helps me remember that...

So I booked months ago for 28 to 11th as I am doing a bakery supernumerary ....but I can't slip into Venice willy nilly....I will only be allowed out with notice and a very good reason...I was lucky to be taken in!....

The sooner I get the actual date the better....and more chance of being allowed out...tired but out....and in the heaving crowd....Georgio Georgio....I looooove it......
