it's me - Thanks! That's a great collection of pictures. So nice to see him in something other than that black shirt! And I really do wish he'd shave off that half-assed beard. IMO, it does nothing for him and it makes him look so old! Phooey!

Pic 16 - the ring of flowers - a beautiful and solemn sight.
Thought George looked particularly sharp in his dark suit and white shirt.

Re: George Clooney and Aznavour together to commemorate the 101 years of the Armenian Genocide
The German parliament declared the massacre on Armenians in 1915 as genozide today (other parliaments had done that last year). During the last week there had been massive pressure to our MPs, especially to those with Turkish roots, and some 'nice' threats by the Turkish president. In the end just one MP voted 'No' and another one abstained from voting. Chancellor Merkel and vice chancellor Gabriel could not attend but supported the resolution before.
Afterwards the Turkish president called back his ambassador in Germany. It's going to be fun, I guess...
P.S.: I didn't want to post it in 'June Chit Chat' thread because I didn't want to start another discussion about chit chat vs. political discussions...
