The Carlyle?

It looks like the Carlyle. Maybe she was on her way to Texas.

Mm, well there was a dinner for her last night. Then presumably she flies straight out after lunch to LA for the Clinton dinner.

Very impressed that the paps haven't got them in NYC this time...........

Sorry to ask something so trivial, but what's up with her top? Is it all one piece or is it layered? Weird, IMO. Also, every time I see a white-on-white suit like this I can't help thinking of Travolta in "Saturday Night Fever". Not saying it's not nice, just sayin'....

I wonder when she's leaving for LA. Hillary has a huge debate with Bernie in Brooklyn tonight, so I'm guessing she'll leave NY tomorrow morning (unless she goes straight to the airport and sleeps on the plane). Maybe Amal will fly out with her.

Lizzy, she's currently in Dallas.....so she's halfway there already (Amal that is!)

Body suits are in again, as for the white suit it would not be white at the end of the day heck it would be stained just walking from the building to the car. Me in white screams all stains come and get me lol.

She looks sharp. I wonder if she was on her way to the airport? She's a braver woman than me. I couldn't get past security without getting something on me!

The pic must have been taken yesterday since she's in Dallas right now. Logistically it makes since she would fly on to LA afterwards but not knowing her schedule ....

I think both of them are in Ca San Fransisco because of the foundraising tonight. I think thats what I read in an article. Tomorrow they going back to LA.

DoubleZoe I believe the San Francisco fundraiser is tomorrow night. And George and Amal might fly private plane from LA to San Francisco. Just guessing. It's not that long of a flight.

Isn't the one George and Amal are hosting tomorrow and the San Francisco one on Saturday.

PAN - Thanks for reminding me. I completely forgot about the Dallas trip. Makes sense that she'd go from there to LA. and then up to SF with George.

Sounds hectic! I must be getting old. Just thinking about their schedules makes me tired (reminds me of that movie, "If It's Tuesday This Must Be Belgium") - and I hate to fly ! Once upon a time, maybe, but not now. I guess after all these years he's gotten used to constant jet lag and never sleeping in the same bed twice in a row. But I can also understand why Sonning is so attractive to him at this point in his life. The spirit may be willing, but the body has ideas of its own. I'm thinking he's thinking it's time to slow down a bit.

.....Oh Lizzy. I was really thinking about nipping off to LA to link up with George......and then going on the San Francisco with him the next day. Didn't really think about all those implications.........

PAN - At first, so was I. But then I started thinking about all the rushing to and from airports, the packing and unpacking and the constant flying (ugh!). I still think George is worth it, but like I said, the spirit is willing but the body... maybe not so much! (Or maybe it's the body that's willing, but the brain is saying "Who the hell are you trying to kid?"

LOl so true I don't know how they do it , I guess first class and private jets make it very comfortable and much easier.

Well, I think George, and come to that Amal too, is well used to it.

It must help to have familiar home bases across the world with already stocked wardrobes etc - and the option of the fastest way to get there at your finger tips. And you can understand in a way now why Cabo was the one to go really

I think you're right, PAN. Of all 4 homes Cabo seems to be the least used - mostly at New Year's and not much the rest of the time. Also seems to be less privacy than the others. I guess if they still want to go there they can probably stay with Cindy and Rande.

I wonder if the house is really on the market or if it's only rumors that he's selling.

I haven't heard anything about the Cabo house either. And wonder about the close proximity of both houses. They were designed with a pass-through connecting both. So unless George sold it to a mutual friend of both he and Rande's that could be a bit awkward.

I think Amal is a world traveler much like George. Seems like they probably both love moving about. But they also seem to have enough time to wind down and are so incredibly lucky to enjoy beautiful homes to appreciate their down time in.

All the trees that blocked the view of the cabo house were removed. I also think that since Cindy and Rande's kids are older they may be going there less as well. This Easter they took the kids on a road trip. This may all have been planned George got married and the kids getting older may have something to do with the changes.

Mel -I know we should have probably moved to a different thread when we went off topic, but to be honest, the topic sort of left us. Just talking about Amal leaving a hotel leaves us with nothing to talk about. She was wearing clothes. She left the hotel. She's moved on. Period. What else is there to say?
