Did anybody notice that we haven't seen anything from George and / or Amal for two weeks? At least there were loads of interviews to go through from the weeks before...

Suggestions 1.. He's preparing to direct-- she hasn't anything new to wear.
2. He's looking for another dog to adopt- she hasn't anything new to wear.
3. He's out of Cassamigo tee shirts and baggy jeans- she hasn't anything new to wear.

I have noticed that we don't see them very often at all . I think they must be enjoying their time together and working since they both can work from anywhere we have no idea where they are at anytime.

Re: March 2016 Chit Chat
Agree Annemarie. We don't see them that often. They are generally out of sight and living their lives - working and enjoying their life together. I think it's great that they can maintain a sense of privacy. Obviously they can even go out to dinner sometimes and not get hounded by paps. I just miss seeing our guy.

PigPen, be careful getting around. Hope you don't lose power! That's the worst. Ice storms are soooo much worse than snowstorms IMO.

I've just binge watched the first 3 episodes of
The Night Manager....breathtaking...
4th episode tonight... I will be glued... NO taping or recording this absolute masterpiece, it's a sit in front of the TV and lap it up live....From the opening credits to the end a class act....
BBC 1 @ 9pm.

It sounds as if we in 'the rest of the world' have to wait for a new series to be aired - if it will be it's probably on Netflix or amazon...

Roper knows he was the Night Manager in the Alp's....can't see him falling for brother doing the same job in Cairo ...Freddie is the tipping point....kill Freddie/avoid Freddie....River House should have closed the Hotel with a Health Virus/vomiting bug, but nobody in River House you can trust....Staff at hotel like him, so will assist....but Freddie????
At the end the BBC announcer said next week is the last in the "present series".....Woo Hoo more to come????......
JO, you mean Tom Higglypiggly....You are so right he would make an excellent Bond, yes he would be perfect...he reminds me of Peter O'Toole he would make a great Lawrence of Arabia too....I have never seen him in anything else....out of the blue...
Tom Hollander (Corky) was on the other channel playing the lead in Dr Thorne (new Julien Fellows of Downton Abbey fame).....Having just binge watched him in The Night Manager....It totally threw me to see him as Dr Thorne, I kept expecting him to do something nasty and by comparison Dr Thorne was not in the same league, so unfair of me to judge it then.....
This binge watching is cool.....

If it was ISIS I guess it's a revenge since the police caught one of the assassins of the Paris attacks in Brussels...

I'd like to add my good wishes to PigPen's. I hope everyone has a safe and peaceful holiday.
I also send my heartfelt sympathies to Atalante and all her fellow Belgians. It's mind-boggling that anyone thinks this kind of cowardly, senseless violence accomplishes anything but creating more hatred. If the saying is true, that "what goes around, comes around", I wish for the perpetrators of this violence the opportunity to experience the pain and suffering they are visiting on so many others.

Re: March 2016 Chit Chat
So, good news and bad news.
The bad news is that the next ' Ocean's' movie is a definite go and already has a script. The good news is that it was written by a woman, and Sandra Bullock is apparently on board to co-star.
If that's not news here, I apologize. But I couldn't find it anywhere.

Where did you see this? Did they say who else was attached? Maybe it's just some idiot's wishful thinking? (Please, please tell me it isn't real.) Maybe it's like the Ghostbusters reboot and it's an all female cast, and George (please, please, please) has nothing to do with it. The last thing he needs is an Adam Sandler-type flop. IMO, there's no way this is a good idea.

PP - I liked Tomorrowland! It was fun - not a great movie, or a great performance by George - but not a disaster either. IMO, another Ocean's movie would be a HUGE mistake.

Re: March 2016 Chit Chat
Yes, this is happening, people.
George and Grant are producing, along with Steven Soderbergh. The guy who did 'The Hunger Games,' 'Seabiscuit,' and 'Pleasantville' is directing.
So the project has an excellent pedigree. And I actually don't have an objection to a final 'Ocean's' movie. I just think it should have happened years ago, and should have been an undeniable we're-never-doing-this-again-so-let's-do-it-right blowout. I even had a concept in mind for how I would do it.
And let's all remember that Matt Damon's career was dead in the water for a while, and he's back with a vengeance. I wouldn't write George off so quickly.
Still, I'm not a fan of this idea. It could go terribly, awfully wrong in so many ways.
