hey guys, having a real problem with COH site,  anyone else?   Thought this article was amusing, though I'm not familiar with Edwina Currie. She sounds like a bit of a character.

Former Tory MP Edwina Currie has admitted she would like to die bonking George Clooney.

The Liverpool-born 69-year-old had an affair with ex-Prime Minister John Major for four years in the 1980s.

Now the politician, from Toxteth, has revealed she is a ‘huge fan’ of 54-year-old Clooney, husband of celebrated human rights lawyer Amal Clooney.

Asked who her ‘dream date’ would be, she said: “George Clooney – all by himself.

“I’m a huge fan – he’s every middle-aged woman’s dream.


“He’s more than an actor – he’s an activist and he puts his money where his mouth is, and I like that.”

The married mum-of-two added: “I’d be happy just to sit there gazing into his eyes, thinking, ‘Beautiful! Beautiful!’

“I was once asked where I’d like to die, and the answer is under George Clooney.”

The former Mosspits Lane primary school pupil, who was the first dancer to be given the boot from Strictly Come Dancing in 2011 and came in fourth place in I’m a Celebrity in 2014, also said she didn’t regret admitting her affair with John Major, between 1984 and 1988.

She said in a recent magazine interview: “Contrary to popular thought I’ve never regretted ‘spilling the beans’ in 2002 about John Major and me.


“He was being portrayed as a saint and a martyr at the time, yet his indecisiveness and lack of leadership had contributed to the downfall of the Tory party.

“And besides, if you know something that is historically important, I think you have a duty to share it.”

The ex-Liverpool Institute High School for Girls pupil is also known for her reality TV appearance on Celebrity Wife Swap with horse-racing pundit John McCririck.

She is currently appearing as the Wicked Queen in Snow White at the Northwich Theatre in Chester.

Well that's one way to get a headline.  She does sound a bit colorful.  And she's obviously had her own bit of celebrity.

Well, a new vocabulary I'd never heard of (definetely no word you learn in English lessons at school) and that really needs to be added to my vocabulary...

Edwina Currie has always been a controversial 
Member of Paliament because she tells it as it is.

She's often interviewed or on BBC Question Time
and when that happens I know that we'll be in for
a great ride....excuse the pun !

I may not agree with her politics but I like her 
as a woman.

I bet her husband knows about her fantasy already !
