There's a youtube video of George at the New York Film Festival.

They did a 15 years anniversary screening of 'O Brother, Wher Art Thou' at the Lincoln Center.

There's also a twitter tweed about George:

I guess it was last night since it was posted only a few hours ago.
So that explains why Amal was spotted in New York...

NEWSTUESDAY SEPTEMBER 29, 2015 11:55 PM EDTGeorge Clooney On His and Amal's One-Year Anniversary: 'We Sure Are Having Fun'EVAN AGOSTINI/INVISION/AP

BY JEFF NELSON

So far, so good!

George Clooney and wife Amal did some belated celebrating in New York Tuesday, attending the New York Film Festival's 15th anniversary screening of the actor's movie O Brother, Where Art Thou?

"We sure are having fun," Clooney, 54, told PEOPLE of his first wedding anniversary at the screening. "We had a beautiful anniversary, and we're having fun."

As for what the star has learned in his first year of newlywed bliss?

"That's a good question, but I can't officially tell you any of those things because that would be wrong, and she would be upset that I told anyone what I've learned," Clooney says of his wife, 38, a distinguished human rights activist and lawyer.

After Clooney made his way down the red carpet, he joined Amal in a lounge where they "held hands and [were] arm in arm" then were "super casual" talking to up-and-coming filmmakers at a Film Society of Lincoln Center reception held in the same space, an onlooker tells PEOPLE. The pair then made their way to the downstairs theater to enjoy the film with the rest of the New York audience – even so, Clooney feigned nerves going into the screening.

"I mean, drinking is gonna be my secret going in there to watching myself 15 years ago. On a big screen? Holy s---!" he told PEOPLE with a laugh. "That's pretty rough."

Last year, the Clooneys tied the knot on Sept. 27 in Venice, Italy, in front of a starry assortment of friends including Matt Damon,Cindy Crawford, Bono and Emily Blunt.
While Clooney told reporters at the NYFF screening that he and Amal enjoyed a special dinner to commemorate their first year together, he spent their anniversary paying his respects to longtime friend Jerry Weintraub, paying tribute to the producer – and taking a playful dig at presidential hopeful Donald Trump – at an L.A. memorial Sunday.

She wears shoes costing $750 but Amal Clooney can’t escape the curse of bunions as she steps out for the night with husband George

Her mini dress flaunted her shapely pins and turned her into a vision in green as she accompanied husband George Clooney to an anniversary screening of his film O Brother, Where Art Thou? on Tuesday.

But, like millions of women, it appears not even high-flying human rights lawyer Amal is immune to the curse of bunions.

A closer inspection of the 37-year-old’s feet revealed they are not as perfect as the slender legs to which they are attached - and she is not the only women in the public with an ugly bump at the base of her big toe.

Former Spice Girl turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham, 41, and actress Sarah Jessica Parker, 50, also suffer from the painful affliction.

It is overwhelmingly a female problem, largely as a result of high heels.

A stilleto throws weight forward onto splayed out toes and forefoot, putting pinching pressure on the big toe joint.

Mrs Beckham, Miss Parker and Mrs Clooney are all guilty of being A-list heel obsessives.

Mrs Clooney, who is 5ft 8ins, often enjoys wearing stilletoes that allow her to dwarf her 5ft 11in Hollywood heartthrob husband, 54.

The pair, who celebrated their first wedding anniversary on Sunday, were pictured making their way to the screening at the New York Film Festival.

For the occasion Mrs Clooney encased her feet in a pair of delicate £500 sandals by designer Jimmy Choo, but the straps did little to hide the bony bumps which appeared painfully inflamed.

According to experts there are 100 procedures used to correct the deformity.

Most common are variations on what is known as a bunionectomy or open osteotomy.

Nonetheless, her foot affliction was clearly the last thing on her mind as she stepped out with husband of a year George for another date night.

Goddess in green: The Lebanese-born beauty flowed in a chic green dress and the shoes that revealed all

He won a Golden Globe for his outstanding performance in O Brother, Where Art Thou? back in 2001, and the actor and his fellow cast-mates relived their excitement as they reunited for the 15th anniversary screening during the New York Film Festival.

George appeared to be in high spirits, no doubt remembering his award-winning turn on screen.

The scruffy-faced star dressed dapper in a snazzy all-black suit.

O Brother, Where Art Thou? - which was released in 2000 - was nominated for two Academy Awards and was directed by the famous Coen brothers, Joel and Ethan.

Still very much in love: The couple held hands as they made their way inside the venue for the evening

George starred alongside John Turturro and Tim Blake Nelson, who were also spotted at Tuesday's screening.

The story takes place in the deep south during the 1930s and follows three escaped convicts as they search for hidden treasure while a relentless lawman pursues them.

Amal made for a stylish sight while flashing her slim pins in a flowing kelly green mini dress as she arrived at the Lincoln Center for the New York Film Festival.

The beauty teamed her sleeveless frock with that tricky pair of strappy green stilettos, as her shiny raven-coloured locks flowed down in curls.

Weather proof: The couple were shielded from the elements by a large umbrella as they stayed close to one another
The Lebanese-born lawyer dolled up with some glittering jewels and wore a full face of make-up.

On Sunday - their official wedding anniversary - Amal and George, dined at Sunset Tower Hotel’s Tower Bar in West Hollywood.

According to Us Weekly the couple arrived at 10pm and stayed a few hours.

'I couldn't be happier. We're having a really fun time. We’re working on fixing up a house in England that we’ll be spending a lot of time in just outside of London,' he told Good Morning America in May.

In another interview the same month George revealed that his wife prefers to make dinner reservations rather than cook but that he is quite the whiz in the kitchen.

'I was a single guy for a long time,' the Tomorrowland star explained to the Aussie site News.com. 'I'm a decent chef, I know how to cook. I make a nice pasta because I spend time in Italy. I can also make good breakfast food, and I'm great at Thanksgiving dinner.'

George Clooney Doesn't Know If Amal Has Seen 'ER': I'm More Interested in Her Job

George Clooney was throwing it back Tuesday night, celebrating the 15th anniversary of his film O Brother, Where Art Thou?, a role the actor says he still gets recognized for to this day.
"I always hear, ‘I'm a Dapper Dan man’ or ‘We're in a tight spot'," the 54-year-old actor told ET at the film’s reunion screening at the New York Film Festival. "And I've been hearing that literally for 15 years straight. So I'm here to put it to bed tonight."

The Coen brothers’ adventure comedy was released back in 2000, and Clooney joined ET for a quick flashback to what he remembered from the year.
"I remember Y2K, everyone thought the world was going to blow up," he recalled with a laugh. "I remember being a lot younger and a lot less grey. It's fun to see all the actors now, they look good."
While O Brother, Where Art Thou? is certainly one of Clooney’s iconic roles, the part that put him on the map was playing Dr. Doug Ross on ER back in the ‘90s. So, has wife Amal ever seen him in the scrubs?
"I don't know if she has [seen ER]," Clooney admitted. "I actually don't know that."

Amal Clooney, 37, is an international human rights attorney who is currently defending Mohamed Nasheed, former President of the Maldives and working on a case being heard in the European Court of Human Rights.
"I don't drill her on my jobs," Clooney said of his wife, who was by his side for Tuesday’s event. "I'm a little more interested in her jobs."

After the event, Clooney took his lady out on the town. George, Amal and pal Rande Gerber headed to The Viceroy with the movie’s cast and crew and indulged in their Casamigos Tequila.

Not sure if this has been posted. The article is about Cindy sort of but it also has a video interview of George from the New York Film Festival and a short video clip of George and Amal walking into the festival.

DM mixes everything in their articles. I haven't seen the George interview in their articles already posted on this thread.

George Clooney Dishes on How He Spent One-Year Anniversary with Amal

Tuesday night, "Extra's" AJ Calloway caught up with George Clooney at the 15th anniversary screening of "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" at the New York Film Festival, where he opened up about his first wedding anniversary to wife Amal.

George, who brought Amal as his date, shared, "We had our first-year anniversary two nights ago. I had to start off by [attending] a Jerry Weintraub event, you know, memorial, and then afterwards she and I got to sneak out and have a dinner."

The couple reportedly grabbed a sushi dinner at his favorite spot, Asanebo in Studio City. AJ commented, "That was it, just a little dinner?" George replied, "Well, you know, what are you gonna do, shoot off fireworks? You know, sometimes you just go to dinner, you know… This is the paper anniversary you don't want to go too crazy on the first, you know, you've got a lot more to do."

Switching gears, George also chatted about the crazy time that he ended up in bed with Cindy Crawford, who is the wife of his Casamigos business partner Rande Gerber. He joked, "You know she can't, she can't help herself.  No, it was one of the funnier, like, drunken nights out at their house where we, we, you know, had a couple of drinks and then couldn't go home and went to sleep and she thought I was Rande 'cause he was sleeping in the other room 'cause the kids were in their bed, and she didn't want to wake them up, and she thought I was Rande and I was wearing my boots and my jeans — that's how drunk I was, I think — and she hopped in bed. That was pretty funny."

Clooney also reminisced about filming "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" He said, "We had so much fun making it, and it was so much fun to see these guys... a lot of them I hadn't seen in a long, long time, and, you know, Joel and Ethan [Coen] and I have done three other films since then. It's just good fun. They're good friends and we love the film."

George Clooney on Retiring From Acting: ‘I’ll Let Them Kick Me Out’

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of O Brother, Where Art Thou?, the Coen brothers and Clooney convened for a special screening and talk on the Depression-era black Comedy.

Facing a row of enthusiastic photographers, John Turturro—actor and one of the stars of the Coen brothers classic O Brother, Where Art Thou?—quips, “Where were you when the movie premiered?”

O Brother, Where Art Thou? was a modest success when it premiered, respectable for an independent film, but not a runaway hit like its famous soundtrack, featuring bluegrass songs from the likes of Alison Krauss and The Stanley Brothers. But if the response to the movie at its premiere was muted, the response to it last night at its revival screening at the New York Film Festival was enthusiastic and familiar.

It’s the kind of response that can only be cultivated once a movie has been worn out on DVD, so that sharing a movie’s projection on a 50-foot screen in a room with nearly a thousand other enthusiastic fans takes on the kind of communal harmony that used to be the realm of the religious.

O Brother, Where Art Thou? is the Coens’s soft adaptation of Homer’s Odyssey, but in typical fashion for them, they took the powerful epic hero at the center of the story and replaced him with a trio of simple convicts. They make movies about little people in a big world, and sometimes movies like theirs take a minute to find their audience. Watching O Brother, Where Art Thou? now feels like a testament to the faith of its investors—to pay for the first of its kind, and now an industry standard in digital effects work, and to build the sets and make the costumes and buy the music rights that make the film what it is.
The Coens are independent filmmakers, but there are times when they feel like the hopeful face of independent cinema—the promise that if you can dream big, dream weird, and hold true to your vision, then an audience will come. With filmmakers from Soderbergh to Spielberg decrying the state of the industry, in the Coens there’s just the persistence of filmmakers who do what they can year after year to get their vision onto the screen.

I don’t think things are doom and gloom,” Joel Coen tells The Daily Beast. “It’s a healthy business, and so long as the American movie business stays healthy, a rising tide floats all ships, including movies that are at the margins. It’s a cause for celebration when movies are doing well—any movie—because that makes anyone who finances movies less fearful about doing things that might not be so mainstream.”

Of course, when you’re navigating the choppy waters of the moviemaking business, it helps to have a star like George Clooney on your side. For O Brother’s 15th anniversary, Clooney made an appearance to regale the crowd with stories from the set and joke about everyone’s age.
What keeps a man like Clooney coming back to the movies when everything from politics to philanthropy has come calling?
“I like doing movies and they’re fun to do,” Clooney responds. “The truth of the matter is that this is an industry where you can only do what you do and perform at the level you want to for a certain period of time and then they just take it away. So I don’t have to rush out the door, I’ll let them kick me out.”

But if the crowd at O Brother Where Art Thou? was any indication, the time for goodbyes is in no danger of approaching. In the industry now there’s always a rush to analyze the first weekend box office, but nights like the one last night at Alice Tully Hall make for a lovely reminder that movies can and do live well past the opening weekend.
The Coens and Clooney will reunite next year for another comedy—this time a Hollywood sendup called Hail Caesar! Predicting a film’s success a year in advance is a fool’s errand, but for filmmakers like the Coens, it’s not the short stakes but the long game that really counts.

How George Clooney’s Uncle Jack Helped Him Prepare for ‘O Brother, Where Art Thou?’

When George Clooney was cast in the Coen Brothers’ 2000 comedy “O Brother, Where Art Thou,” he naturally turned to a family member for research. He sent the script to his Uncle Jack in Kentucky, with instructions that he read it out loud on tape. His uncle protested, saying he didn’t sound like that, but helped Clooney anyway. “I threw the script away and used the tape recorder,” Clooney recalled Sept. 29 at a 15th anniversary reunion with the cast at Alice Tully Hall at the New York Film Festival. “After two months of shooting, Joel and Ethan came over and they’re like, ‘You say every word exactly as written except you don’t say ‘hell’ and you don’t say ‘damn.’”

That’s when Clooney realized what his Baptist uncle had done. “He rewrote the Coen brothers,” Clooney said. The line got one of many big laughs. After a screening, Clooney was joined onstage with Joel and Ethan Coen, co-stars Tim Blake Nelson and John Turturro and director of photography Roger Deakins for a reunion.

Joel said that the script didn’t start out as a story inspired by Homer’s “The Odyssey.” “It started with a three-saps on the run movie,” Joel said. “At a certain point, we looked at each other and said, ‘They are trying to get home — let’s just call it ‘The Odyssey.’”

“In certain respects,” Ethan explained, “we were thinking more about ‘The Wizard of Oz,’” he said, alluding to the line, “There’s no place like home.”

Nelson recalled visiting Joel’s house and seeing a copy of “The Odyssey” with a post-it note that read, “Soon to be a motion picture by Joel and Ethan Coen.” He considered the role his big break in Hollywood. “I felt like the luckiest person in the world, to get to be directed by him,” he said. “These guys were mentors. They were so kind and generous.”

When Joel introduced “O, Brother,” he threatened to go into the editing room to make more cuts, but he said after the screening that he enjoy re-watching it. “Most of what you notice is editing things you would do a little different,” he said.

“I could have made more big faces,” joked Nelson.

“I think we were fined by SAG,” chimed in Turturro.

“When we first started doing the film,” Clooney said, “the first day was when I got the corn knocked out of me by John Goodman. I was really intimidated working with these guys. I was playing it like an idiot. Joel came over and said, ‘No! No! No! You’re the smartest guy in the room.’”

George Clooney attends special NYFF screening of 'O Brother, Where Art Thou?'

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

On Tuesday, Sept. 29, the New York Film Festival hosted a special fifteenth anniversary screening of Joel and Ethan Coen’s beloved flick "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" The event was held at Alice Tully Hall. The movie, which was based on "The Odyssey" by Homer, follows three escaped convicts (George Clooney, Tim Blake Nelson, and John Turturro) who are trying to get back home in the rural South. With a score curated and produced by T Bone Burnett, some of the best musicians in the country like Ralph Stanley, the Fairfield Four, Alison Krauss, John Hartford, Emmylou Harris, and Gillian Welch all contributed their talents. Some of the highlights from the soundtrack included “Big Rock Candy Mountain,” “I’ll Fly Away,” and the film’s touchstone, “Man of Constant Sorrow.”

Directors Ethan and Joel Coen, George Clooney, Tim Blake Nelson, and John Turturro were all in attendance. Joel Coen said he loves working with George because he is a lot of fun to be around. He said that he normally doesn't watch his movies after they are done, so attending this event was a rare exception for him. He said that he loved the soundtrack when he first heard it, but didn't realize it would become such a big hit. He said that he loves incorporating music in his film. When asked how he celebrates when he finishes a film, he joked that he goes home and sleeps for a month or two. Read what George Clooney told reporters on the red carpet below:

Q: What do you love about the Coen Brothers?
George Clooney: I've just done my fourth film with them. I've got one coming out called "Hail, Caesar!" They like to make me the absolute idiot in it, which apparently doesn't take that much work. And it's always fun. Every time they send me a script and go 'you want to play an idiot?' I go, 'well I'm your guy.'
Q: Why do they think they want to cast you as an idiot?
GC: I think it comes fairly clearly once you spend a couple minutes talking that it's perfect casting ... that I'm an idiot!
Q: Have you watched "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" since you filmed it?
GC: Well you always see clips cause it's always on. So you'll catch something.
Q: When you watch your work, do you wish you had done things differently?
GC: You can't find an actor that looks at anything they've done even a year ago and doesn't think they can do things better, but the truth of the matter is it's sort of a time capsule and you look at it for all the really fun things that you did and it was really fun for us.
Q: Where do you think your character ended up later in life?
GC: He probably ended up back in jail somehow. It just seems like somebody as dim as Everett I think somehow was always going to end up back in jail.
Q: How excited are you to be back at New York Film Festival and reuniting with the cast fifteen years later?
GC: It's really fun to be back here and it's fun to be here with all of these guys because they are really good friends and I haven't seen a lot of them in a long time, so I am excited!
A reception followed at Landmarc restaurant.
