Fancy a private lunch with George Clooney?

The Scottish Business Awards is offering Scottish business leaders the opportunity for a private lunch with this year’s Keynote speaker George Clooney as part of their newly launched ‘Platinum’ table package.

The 2015 Scottish Business Awards will be held on 12 November. The event is attended by elite business leaders from across Scotland and the UK and will feature a 'Platinum' table option for the first time this year, as George Clooney jets in to address the annual gathering of the best in Scottish business at the EICC in Edinburgh.
This is the first time the event, which has attracted President Bill Clinton, Sir Richard Branson and Sir Bob Geldof to its stage in previous years, has offered such privileged access to its keynote speaker and assembled it’s VVIP guests for a private gathering ahead of the ceremony.
The ten Platinum packages which offer front and centre viewing positions for a table of ten for Mr Clooney’s speech will allow guests to mingle with George Clooney, Sir Chris Hoy and ceremony host Rob Brydon on the night, as well as giving one person from the table the chance to attend a private lunch party with the Holywood A-Lister and the ceremony’s most illustrious guests.

Speaking about the private lunch with George Clooney, Scottish Business Awards founder and future BQ interviewee Josh Littlejohn said: “This is a really cool opportunity to come to a lunch with a Hollywood living legend as well as invaluable one-on-one time with our VVIP guests such as our chairman Sir Tom Hunter”
The Platinum package can be secured through a charitable donation of £10,000 to the charities supported by the event which includes the Social Bite Fund and Scottish Edge, as well as the Not On Our Watch project.
Speaking about the charitable side of the event Littlejohn added: “Last year we broke the £1m mark for funds raised through The Scottish Business Awards to great causes at home and abroad and we hope to continue that great fundraising momentum this year - with the help of George Clooney and Co.”

What is the price for this. most people cannot afford this luncheon and I guess it is Scotland. I am happy to hear his is addressing the scottish business in edinburgh. I did not know he was well informed about scottish business. They need to have one out here in LA so we can enter too but the price is too high. bg

This is a businessmen's charity event where businessmen and women are given a chance to donate to Not on Our Watch and the Social Bite in exchange for attending the event and hearing them speak on the topics concerned.

George knows Scotland very well and has been many times. And of course it will fit in with other things that he's doing.......

Not picking an argument with you PA-N, but are those undocumented visits to Scotland?  I've not heard of many travels to Scotland or Ireland for George.

Well, some of the visits are 'vaguely' documented, Mel. And he's alluded to visits in interviews.
