I'm confused it shows George Picture but is does not really say you meet him it says you meet Timothy Olyphant...Do i read it wrong?

And where does it say the meeting will be in Disneyland?

I can't explain that Nicky. The link works for me but maybe the site is overwhelmed with visitors to the site because everyone wants to meet George. Try again. Or go to Omaze.com and search George. Omaze does a number of fundraising events for celebrities and their causes.

No the link went to the right place, but the comments you had posted were about a different Omaze event that had to do with a different charity, the show Justified and somebody named Timothy.

I deleted that info and added the info that was at the link for George's Omaze event.

I've entered. Probably will enter a couple more times. I entered the MM Omaze contest but obviously that didn't work out too well for me. I did get a MM movie poster with George's digital signature. In the end the money goes to a really good cause so I still feel it's money well spent.

I think if you watch the you tube video the winners are with George he is talking to a woman and a young man. They pose for pictures and George shakes their hands.

I entered the first Clooney Omaze contest and I don't remember it being publicized how much money was raised for it. I remember the press covering the woman and her daughter who won and showing pics and a video of their meeting with George. Does anyone here remember Omaze publicizing the winner? I just don't at this point. Maybe Omaze isn't on top of their game as they should be. They are doing lots of these celebrity benefits now. I always get emails from them. But nothing after the fact.

Yes they rase 1.25 million dollar.It was publicised everywhere with interviews George thank everybody who enter, on TV everywhere I will look.

Has anyone looked at the video I mentioned I think those two people may have been the winners. They were outside the barriers talking to George Gio is standing next to them. In the next shot George is posing on the carpet with them at the end of the pictures he shakes their hands.

I emailed Omaze and asked who won the contest and how much $ was raised for Not On Our Watch. They did get back to me but all they said was that they would post the info on their Facebook page "in the next few weeks".
That was it. Unless we find out some other way maybe someone here can check Facebook from time to time for the info. I'm not on Facebook.

Yep, as a donator to that and SSP I was wondering that, but I also wondered whether it's a story for later which would get more impact away from all the premieres as a stand-alone story and might be attached to news about Sudan or a new initiative.

I'm thinking the latter, 'cos I just don't see His Nibs just ignoring or burying the story.......

Interestingly I also got a letter from Enough Project about the Omaze offer.............

What do taking over Disneyland with George Clooney and joining Robin Wright for a power lunch on the set of House of Cards have in common? Some might respond that they’re both opportunities for unique and unforgettable experiences with stars we love. But it might surprise people to learn that both experiences raised money to support work to end atrocities in the Horn, eastern, and central Africa. The Enough Project and Not On Our Watch partnered with Omaze to offer the chance to win once in a lifetime experiences with stars who are using their fame to make the world a better place.
This is not to say the winners aren't ecstatic that they won their celebrity experiences. Noeleen, of Dublin, explained how excited she was to bring her 16 year old son to Los Angeles, who has spent most of his young life on stage or in acting classes. She was thrilled to be able to advance her son’s passion while supporting a good cause. As she said, “having looked up the charity I was very impressed by how [it] highlighted humanitarian issues in places that were rarely seen on TV.”
