Guys' night out! George Clooney and Sacha Baron Cohen hug it out as they enjoy sushi dinner together in Los Angeles

They've been under-the-radar friends for quite a while.
And now George Clooney and Sacha Baron Cohen have made their friendship public, as the two actors stepped out for dinner together on Tuesday night.
The unlikely twosome dined together during their guys' night out at sushi restaurant at Kazu Sushi in Studio City, California, and it seems to have been a fun rendez-vous.

Both Hollywood stars went casual for their man-date, and both must have been quite unrecognisable to onlookers in their pared-down outfits.

George, 53, sported a printed black t-shirt, loose-fit jeans and boots - an unusual outfit choice for the usually suit-clad and dapper star.
Meanwhile British actor Sacha, 43, went incognito in a polo shirt, jeans, trainers and a quirky little orange hat and glasses.

He looked a world away from his famous alter-egos Borat, Ali G and Bruno, showing just how much work goes into his litany of comedy characters.
The two stars are old friends, and earlier this year the two were spotted on a double date with their wives.
However, George's wife Amal Alamuddin, and Sacha's wife Isla Fisher - who is pregnant with her third child with the actor - were not present on Tuesday for the sushi dinner.
George and Sacha were in great spirits as they finished up their luxurious meal together, standing on the street and continuing their chat.

And before they parted ways in their cars, the men hugged on the street, marking the end of the evening.

In February, the famous foursome made a night of it as they went for dinner at top Los Angeles restaurant the Tower Bar at the ultra-stylish Sunset Tower.
Monuments Men star George is clearly still head-over-heels with married life: he tied the knot to British lawyer Amal, 37, in September 2014 in an incredibly luxurious four-day wedding in Venice, Italy.
Meanwhile, Sacha was no doubt enjoying a rare night out ahead of the birth of his third child with wife Isla, 39, to whom he has been married since 2010.
The smitten twosome are already parents to daughters Olive and Elula, and are soon to welcome their third child together in the coming months.
