Still that doesn't mean Weinstein always does everything he's supposed to for first-time actors turned directors. He admitted he should have done more to generate awareness about George Clooney's Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
"George is a masterful director. I should have done better for him on Confessions of a Dangerous Mind," Weinstein said. "It came out a little too late in the Academy season. That movie is a masterpiece, and not enough people know about it."

mmhhh looks like I have a weird taste

when I watched it the first time I felt like it was the most boring movie I ever watched. After time I watched it a second time and at that time I didn't even finish it until the end as I found it even more boring then when I watched it the first time. I give it few years and then I try to watch it again. Maybe i will think different then......

This is the film I submit as Exhibit A in my argument that George should stick to directing films written by others.  With the exception of GNGL, I don't find the films for which he's filled both roles nearly as interesting.  Confessions if terrific.
