New book in the Abigail Phelps Series - George Clooney mentioned
Hi everyone
A couple of days ago I got a message from the author of a new book coming out that seems to include George and she was asking if it would be ok to mention it on COH. I haven't read it myself and I hope the writer will be along soon to give us a bit more information. In the meantime, here's what she has to say:

I am the author of the bestselling Abigail Phelps Series. Abigail is a fictional character surrounded by supporting characters who are real-life celebrities. She meets George in 1978 at an awards banquest in Cincinnati, where she is being honored and George's dad Nick is the MC, and they are best friends from that moment on.
I am a George fan, which is why he is featured so prominently in the book. If I were not the author, I would still want to READ a book like this, because I am a George fan. I thought that many of your visitors may feel the same way.
This is a book BY a fan FOR fans, and I just want to let people know about it. Thanks so much!

Re: New book in the Abigail Phelps Series - George Clooney mentioned
Thanks Katiedot! Hi everyone!
So, I wanted to let you all know about my novels - the Abigail Phelps Series. The books are I've Loved These Days, Scenes From Highland Falls, and Two Thousand Years. They center around a fictional character - Abigail Phelps - but all of the supporting characters in her life are real life celebrities...including George! He is Abby's best friend, and a major character throughout the series. (Others include JFK Jr., ice dancer Christopher Dean, Robert Redford, Tom Hanks, Colin Firth, and MANY more!) The website for the books is abbyphelps[dot]com, but I thought I would specifically direct you to this: abbyphelps[dot]com/the-stars-of-abby-world/george-clooney. That's the most concise introduction to George's role in the books.
The books can be downloaded on Amazon worldwide - the first is only 99cents right now - and obviously I would love for you all to check them out. But I'm not just trying to sell books here. The most fun I have throughout this whole thing is when I get the opportunity to discuss the books and the characters with readers, and anyone who is interested. Like I told Katiedot...I'm a huge George fan myself. I grew up in Northern Kentucky - less than an hour away from the Clooneys - and I met his dad Nick when I was a kid. That was a lot of the basis for Abigail's background.
Anyway...I would love to talk about any or all of this with anyone who is interested. I do hope you will give the books a look. Regardless, thank you for your time! And Katiedot...thanks so much for letting me share this with everyone!
