George Clooney in The Simpsons Empty Re: George Clooney in The Simpsons

I don't understand the article. There was already a George Clooney in the Simpson Serie and Clint Eastwood too...do they mean to get his original voice ?????

Al Jean wants Clooney on Simpsons

The Simpsons showrunner Al Jean has revealed he would like to get George Clooney and Clint Eastwood to appear on the show.

The creator of the Emmy-winning programme said he has been trying to get the pair for years, but they have yet to agree to a part.
"There's a group we never got and maybe never will. Clint Eastwood, we've tried several times. George Clooney, we've tried several times," he said.
"But we've been really lucky with our success rate. Nearly 95 per cent of the people we approach say yes. We just want to get really funny people so the kind of people I love, we've had on like Ricky Gervais and Jonah Hill."
The 26th series will see celebrity cameos from Jane Fonda, Pharrell Williams and Sir Richard Branson. The show celebrates its first ten years on Channel 4 with Simpsons Day on November 2.
"Richard lives next to Mr Burns and Burns says, 'Can you speak for five minutes without saying the word 'Virgin'?' He was very nice. I didn't meet him but I spoke to him on the phone," Al recalled.
"The only thing Mr Branson asked for was to mention his inter-galactic challenge to encourage space travel, which was fine because it was for charity."
Al revealed his favourite guest stars include Kelsey Grammer and Anne Hathaway, although Tom Brady and Sir Mick Jagger impressed him with their work in the voiceover studio.
"Kelsey and Anne were stellar, unbelievably funny and great singers. I've been surprised by how funny some athletes are, like US footballer Tom Brady. People who weren't voiceover artists but were really good at it," he said.
"I shouldn't have been too surprised at it, but Mick Jagger was great and really funny," he added.
:: Simpsons Day runs on Channel 4 on November 2. The Simpsons is on Channel 4 weeknights at 6.30pm and Season 26 will start in November on Sky 1.

Nicky, I don't remember George doing the Simpsons.  He was, however, in SouthPark as the gay dog.

If I'm remembering correctly, which could be a huge mistake, he did not speak.
