Fun fiction about a date with George Empty Fun fiction about a date with George

Post by Watson Willett Tue 16 Sep 2014, 01:00

"Nothing weird. No expectations. No threats to his current relationship. I might swoon a little because I do have a uterus, but other than that it would be a wholesome time". [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] -"Park Bench on the Moon" on Amazon.com

A middle-aged mother of three chooses George Clooney when she and her husband playfully offer each other a celebrity "hall pass". She ambitiously (and secretly ) acts upon it, contacting anyone she can to procure the date and succeeds! However, she struggles with the fantasy and the reality of this impending encounter and its meaning. She enlists the help of her friend, McCarthy, to give her the confidence to follow through. In the end, she steps out for an evening in New York City with Mr. George Clooney where she discovers that her marriage is all the stronger for it.

McCarthy arrives in New York alone.

Congrats Watson Willet!  An actual bit of fiction on Amazon.com!

I am going to download it and read it.  Especially interesting to me since I wrote my fun fantasy date piece during the Omaze New York "date" time period and never had the guts to share!

Cheers!

Fun fiction about a date with George Empty Save your $ for Save the Children!

Post by Watson Willett Tue 23 Sep 2014, 15:40

\"Park Bench on the Moon" by Sarah Jean Watson Willett wrote:"This much I can tell you; we did not talk about a single film he was ever in or would ever want to be in; we did not talk about relationships or friendships.  We talked a lot about the world, as though we were sitting on a park bench on the moon, contemplating the world as a whole.  We talked about that which makes us most proud of being human; what we have to offer.  We talked about the potential for darkness in humankind; how people can see another human being as not human, not because of their actions, but because of where they live, who they love, or what they look like.  We talked about things we can change and things which will never change.  I think, in the end, I felt that while he is quite good at his job as an actor, while he has such a gift for entertaining us, while he is wonderfully handsome to gaze upon, he is here on Earth, at this time, for a higher purpose."

In honor of the upcoming nuptials and BECAUSE THE NEED IS GREAT, I am offering my E-Book short read for FREE from September 24, 2014 to September 28, 2014 in the hope that readers will donate their dollar to Save the Children's Ebola Children's Relief Fund instead.  Save the Children is one of many worthy charities to which Mr. Clooney donates.

Please give what you can.  No amount is too small.  Thank you!
