George Clooney says he's a cynic

"I'm a bit of cynic," he [George Clooney] says when asked about the importance of humour. "And I don't like being a cynic. I want to laugh because laughter is the best medicine for everybody. I genuinely like to make people laugh."

I wonder where he draws the line between humour and cynicism?

In some situations cynicism can be funny but in general I don't like cynicism. The good thing is that George is very often funny. So it makes it easier to balance

I believe that cynicism is a bad defect and instead humor is a great virtue! The cynicism is not only fun but it does no harm to the person to which it refers. George, the rule sails for everyone, think before you speak!
