Has anyone seen Fail_Safe?

The DVD is available on Amazon and I'm tempted to get it. I've got most of his other movies and may add this to the Clooney collection.

I have it Windyc. I thought it was very good, but I like everything he's in, so I'm not a good judge. It was shot live in black and white and has a very stellar cast. I cried.

I've just bought Syriana cheap in my local supermarket, it's got a Gee conversation on it as extras! Heaven!!

I just watched Fail Safe and thought it was good! Great production! I also received Solaris will watch it tomorrow!

i saw a long time ago , downloaded it from clooneyfiles , so sad this site had been closed , it had almost every single video that George apeared in!

Dex, I don't know if you are interested, but i saw the other day that fail safe is available for purchase on movie dvd club. I never saw it either.

Clooneyfiles was the best! I believe they got hacked and the owner was busy so she didn't have time to rebuild it fully. It still exists but there's no forum there anymore.

all of a sudden , like most GC's websites and they keep saying they're always busy to catch up his news and so they close it , hope this thread stays cuz i reaaaaaally love it

neither, it's a reasonable time in the morning! Just moved again so I'm all over the place and trying to figure out if my internet connection is working.

Julie the owner of Clooneyfiles was away working in Japan when the site was hacked and everything in the forum was lost....

I have Fail Safe on DVD. You can get it on Amazon.com for under $7. + shipping. I enjoyed it very much. I thought it was very well done.

He should get a Clooney box. Clint Eastwood has one !

I actually saw it when they originally did it as a live television production. I liked it, and it made a little more thrilling knowing it was live and they could screw up at any minute. It's fun to play "Find the Boys" - a few of them have small parts in the film.

I think it's a brilliant film too, especially as it was live.
While I was watching it, ages ago now, I remembered that I'd heard the play on the radio too, many years ago and the ending was very dramatic !

Because I wanted to, I watched Fail Safe today. George on screen was not that much, but after watching his intensity this week, I felt like seeing it again as him acting in Fail Safe. The whole cast was great and the film compelling. Wow...

It's been a few years since I've seen it; I had actually forgotten about it, which is unfortunate as it is a great film.

Did you see the wedding ring on George's finger in the second video of the cast interview? That was a bit freaky! lololol

I'd say it was for the movie, altho I haven't seen it. He was married to Talia but not at the time of Fail Safe.

His wife had just died of cancer and he had a little boy, Tommy 10 years old.

I never considered the fact that actors would continue to wear things like wedding rings off set. I suppose that makes sense now that I think about it.

I envy those who could catch it live at the time : it's all about the tension right before the big B. which I suppose DVD can't exactly capture comparing to watching a live preformance
