She is from London so the fashion there is always "different".    I like her style, at least she IS dressed

I'd imagine that as a barrister her day to day working clothes are very classic and plain. So why not have fun with fashion when on holiday ?

Yes true I like it if people dress colorful when they are out of office. Nothing boring then to wear just black and white.

I wonder how difficult it will be to maintain her old life with her new life. Would she resign, and take on a similar roll in LA? Or become an adviser to George in her capacity as a Human Rights spokesperson, and George has others who could benefit from her knowledge in LA, Brad, Angie, Ben.

Maybe now would be a good time to take a career brake, leaving the door open to return sometime in the future, if need be.

She works within a team at Daughty, they may have a view. I think someone already pointed out that George is not a client of Daughty so no financial complications.
It will be interesting to see how this rolls.

Maybe, George will go and stay in London and Italy to be closer to her since his work is flexible when he is not filming.

No, I think you will find Amal will be the flexible one.
George, as with most men, will not change lifestyle.
She has already shown commitment to the relationship by giving up her privacy (note, the cute little pap pose to left of car before getting in on the other side) and has embraced the new life, and is not at all uncomfortable with it, from the video.

As I said, a new day has dawned .... And interesting waters ahead.

Apparently it is a style. I like the jacket but the pants are too much for me. I think it is a love them or hate them type of thing. The shoes would be cute with jeans...imo.

I take back everything I was thinking about this woman... professional, not wanting to be on the red carpet... she is totally into the celeb spotlight.  Either she has been photographed a lot in Europe, or the girl has been practicing for her close-up.   Ladies, this is going to be fun to follow.

Funny, she looks so thin, so fragile ... have a girl's body during puberty. It is strange to see George with her after Stacey Keibler, who had a strong, healthy and lush appearance.

I think she is used to photographers she is a high profile lawyer also she does not seem shy very self assured.

Mrs. Baria Alamuddin's interview of Mrs. Indira Gandhi, just before she was assacinated, was something I admired, there are several beautiful characteristics to the young journalist in there... I have also had a lot of respect for her work, from her interviews...

So roughly, it would mean that Amal is a "daughter of a Newswoman" just as George is the "son of a Newsman"... and in that sense, I think they would've been trained anyways on/off camera as part of their growing up...

Yes, Amal's profession may have grown her further in that comfort-zone too...

I'm sure she has been coached on how to deal with the paps before the photos of their holiday were released. It would be a nightmare if she freaked out at the cameras - they would never leave her alone.

My usual approach to a George Clooney girlfriend is never to post an article about her all by herself without including photos of him. Because, usually, HE is the story. Also, they mostly have sh-tty style. Ahem, Stacy Keibler.

But Amal Alamuddin is breaking with the formula in so many ways. For starters, she doesn’t want a job on Dancing With The Stars. The job she does have, as many of you have suggested, kinda makes her the female Mark Darcy. Which would make George Clooney the Bridget Jones in the relationship.

HAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAAHAHAAHA

In other words, Amal is actually deserving to be a celebrity in her own right, no matter who she’s dating. And – bonus! She knows about clothes.

Check out her leaving their NY hotel yesterday in a great pair of pants and an even better pair of shoes. Flat shoes! So she’s stylish AND practical.

sorry, but she doesn' t understand the shoes. Her shoes look like Michael Jackson.
She might not even want to participate in dancing with the stars, but she likes to appear, . She is doing posing for photographer.
At first I thought she was the right person for George, now I have my doubts.

"Posing for the photographer".....what's she supposed to do...come out with a bag over herself and sob and scream "go away" ? Duh....

She's a professional person, quite used to cameras and being noticed.

I can't say I liker her style she looks like she gets dressed in the dark and her shoes are ugly. I don think that she is intelligent and fun to be with going by the way she dresses. She smiled and got in the car I see nothing wrong with that , being nasty to the press would only lead to bad press for her and George. I also think her bosses would not be impressed if she acted anything but classy toward the press.

To be honest I like her pants and the shoes fit well to it. It is different. And I guess that is the issue especially if it comes to fashion. If it's different then it is a matter of taste. For sure I could not wear it. I need to go the gym first  

I personally think she looks great.

At first I thought she looked to young for GC...but these recent photos show not. No offence in anyway...she looks mature and suitable.

Just watched the video above - is it me or was AA speaking with the lady next to her but suddenly appears to cut off once the paps appear?

I think she cuts off because the paps were calling her name and she reacted.....But because the video has music in the background we can not hear that. That's why by the look of it it looks maybe strange but nothing bad about it.

She was talking and then the press came and she went and got in the car. She was polite smiled and got in the car.

To be honest it looked like a friend of hers, but she had to go.........
