I'm sure there must be more than just this one clip. Does anyone else care to add a few more choice snippets for our delectation?

Yet another series I watched with very little memory of George. Guess I just was not that into him!

His voice was familiar to me on Roseanne so I had to research to figure out where I saw him before. Turns out it was the Facts of Life.

You know, I though all the DVDs were out already but it seems not:

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

New DVD Releases

"Roseanne" Seasons 3 and 4
(NR, 1990-92)
"Roseanne," a popular blue collar TV series starring Roseanne Barr-Arnold and John Goodman, was one of the biggest hits of the '80s and early '90s. Mom, as head of the family, never failed to have a foul word for her children, yet the Conners, despite their sharp tongues, were a loving family. Chronically short of money, Roseanne and Dan seemed to work constantly, yet they never got ahead. In the beginning, Roseanne and her sister Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) worked at a plastics plant. They later launched their own business, a coffee shop and cafe. The Conners' daughter, Darlene, played by Sara Gilbert, was an especially interesting young character. George Clooney also had a recurring role in the first two seasons, but is not seen on these DVDs. Much of the writing is uneven and some of the episodes are downright odd, but Roseanne and Goodman created two interesting characters who will still make you laugh all these years later. They didn't have much class, but there was lots of love.

Extras: Interviews.

Here's another choice snippet from Roseanne show for our enjoyment. And in all sincerity this is my most favorite George segment. You may have to click Watch on UTube.

I had my eye on George from the 1980's onward. Being from the Cincinnati, Ohio area, I remember the local newpapers mentioning a George Clooney appearance on TV whenever it occured. The local media always made a note of George's TV appearances all because he was Nick Clooney's son.

For our European posters, go to YouTube and enter "George Clooney on Roseanne" into the search box, and you should come up with clips.

I'm beginning to learn my way around "non-functioning you-tubes"
now and won't give up until I've found one directly on the Y-T site !

I've learned all these activities by coming here.....so thanks GTC for the education Sofa bounce

I loved George on Roseanne. I watched all the eps and I also have them recorded for one of my "can't get enough of George" weekends! And the fun part (or really really sad part) is that I've edited them, so it's only the parts with George in them! Obsessed much???

George looked so hot in that series. He looked better than when was on "The Facts of Life." I noticed that, the older he got, the more that he resembled his dad, Nick Clooney.

Roseanne Barr was roasted on Comedy Central this weekend. One of the roasters put some of the jokes he didn't use on twitter.

Here's one that gave me info I didn't know...

@jessejoyce
Jesse Joyce
Roseanne had bell’s palsy as a kid. When they told the doctor that half her face was fucked up, he said “Which half?”

Now why that's interesting is that many of us have heard about George getting bell's palsy when he was in 9th grade I believe and he had it all year.

Guess that's something the two of them had in common.

If you want to see more of the jokes that didn't make it onto the show you can go to the link below.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Warning, some of those jokes are raunchy and/or offensive.
