Sandra Bullock keeps it classy in white while attending the premiere of her latest film Gravity held at AMC Lincoln Square Theater on Tuesday (October 1) in New York City.  The 49-year old year-old actress was joined on the black carpet by her dapper co-star George Clooney.

They’ve both had their adventures - and misadventures - in the love department, but George Clooney and Sandra Bullock are perhaps the best advertisements for a content single life in Hollywood today. The Gravity co-stars attended the New York premiere of their new movie solo on Tuesday night but there was no cause for concern as they entertained each other.

George, 52 and 49-year-old Sandra shared a warm hug and enjoyed a laugh with each other as they cosied up on the special black carpet at AMC Lincoln Square Theater.

Sandra looked beautiful in a white minidress and black and white heels and finished off the classic look by leaving her long hair loose around her shoulders.


Meanwhile, George was as handsome as ever in a dark suit, white shirt and dark tie.

Sandra and George are the sole actors in the new film directed by Alfonso Cuarón, in which they star as two astronauts stranded in space after being battered by the floating debris from a destroyed Russian satellite that has ruined their shuttle. Bullock plays rookie Dr Ryan Stone, to Clooney's veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky, who must navigate their way across the void of space to reach the international space station and their only chance of salvation.

Although George and Sandra have been friends for years, they were forced to deny rumours of a romance after the pair put on an affectionate display while promoting Gravity at the Venice Film Festival in August. George, who split from his wrestler-turned-model girlfriend Stacy Keibler in July, was snapped on more than one occasion staring at Sandra somewhat like a love sick puppy.

His body language only served to inflame the rumours as he kept leaning into the actress and tending to her every need, at one point even affectionately mopping her brow. This led to claims that the silver haired actor was 'making eyes' at his long-time friend.

But Bullock, who has a three-year-old son Louis, was quick to shoot down the rumours telling Associated Press, 'He was not making eyes. Maybe cross eyes but that's the extent of his goggle eyes.'

She explained that the pair had been friends long enough to have enough 'dirt' on each other to command a deep level of 'respect and understanding'. Devastated: Sandra was left heartbroken after it was claimed her husband Jesse James had cheated on her with a number of different women

Despite not having romantic feelings for the talented actor and director, Sandra professed her deep affection for him saying, 'I adore George'.
Meanwhile the incorrigible bachelor released a statement through Warner Brothers confirming the platonic nature of his relationship with Sandra saying, 'We are just friends. We have known each other before either of us had success in films so there is no pretense'.

Before Stacy, George dated Italian actress and TV personality Elisabetta Canalis from 2009 to 2011. He has had a string of other relationships including a brief fling with cocktail waitress Sarah Larson and a six-year off and on relationship with Baywatch actress Krista Allen. George dated British model Lisa Snowdon for five years after meeting in 2000 and was with Parisian law student and waitress Celine Balitran from 1996 until 1999. Clooney has only been married once, to Talia Balsam, but they split in 1992 after three years of marriage.

Meanwhile, Sandra’s romantic history is also quite complicated. She split from husband Jesse James soon after winning an Oscar for The Blind Side in 2010 after it was revealed he had been unfaithful to her with multiple women.

Sandra has also dated a number of actors including her former co-stars Matthew McConaughey, Ryan Gosling and former fiancé Tate Donovan.

... Sandra admits he's set the bar very high as for who should date the Hollywood heavyweight next.

"As long as I like them, that's all I care about," Sandra, 49, told ET. "I don’t wanna hang out with somebody I don't like, you know? It's hard when you don’t like them. When you like them, it makes it fun."
