George Clooney, Rande Gerber throw Cabo bash

George Clooney and Rande Gerber are throwing their annual Casamigos party Sunday in Cabo.
The best friends, who own neighboring retreats on Mexico’s Baja Peninsula, are teaming up with Casamigos partner Mike Meldman for the party, with guests expected including Gerber’s wife, Cindy Crawford, and other stars vacationing in Cabo, such as Jessica Alba and Ewan McGregor.
Meldman is expected to throw his own bash at his El Dorado resort in the next few days.

Do they really have this party bash annually, every year? I hadn't noticed that before. HADN'T EVEN SEEN ANYTHING ON IT AS AN ANNUAL PARTY EVERY YEAR.

Is there some links here on that? I mean, are there actual mentions of this annual bash, every year. Mentioned every year?

Ah, so maybe it hasn't really been that, yet? I didn't think I had heard much about annual party hops there every year. Heard of a few.

Maybe it is a little "artistic licence" on the part of the one who wrote it up. Or as Lorna said maybe it will be in the future, this being the first.   

How does one get an invite to this party - Id have to hire a lear jet to get there in time but will work on that once I get my invite

Alright everyone we have a year to make our plans for next "Annual Party" My funds are not the best do they have a public beach that we can sleep on, it would be worth it to meet George.   

I can bring a tent if that helps. Well if the beaches are private I'm sure we cn find space between the garbage bins. Not my favorite though. We better bring lot's of perfume with us  

Definitely get out pictures in the Daily Mail if we camp out on the beach in tents, may find ourselves in custody as well!!!

Girls, I believe it's a private resort, so sleeping on our Lear jet may our only option........

How about if I book a suite at the resort and we all can sleep there. I read somewhere that a couple stood in front of GC home and took photos. The posted them on a website but I can remember which website I so this on. I think it was on a website in to los cabo as I was looking at going on holidays there to get away to think. They said that you can walk on the beach as long. I may go there for Easter/ birthday as a treat. If I do I will let you know and I will take some photos.

So where are the pictures? Seems to me if they're promoting the tequila there should have been some pictures of famous people sipping the stuff!

I don't think there will be pics. Promoting it to a private party of certain individuals among the other guests. Prolly more dictributers.

I think maybe George had a party at the house and the press decided it was for the tequila. Casamigos is the name of their homes so maybe they thought it was a party for that.

Well whether intentional or not it got them publicity.

Oh, yes. Subtle PR. But never any pix of his private parties. As Our Hero would say - they're private!!

I understood from the article that the party is happening on Sunday, not that it happened already.

But, Sunday was yesterday? If it wasn't, then why the hell did I have a MONDAY at work?????

Well it's Tuesday here! But I didn't notice that the story was released on Saturday so yep, it must have meant the Sunday just gone. Sorry!

Its so hard keeping up with all the time zones. Wish there was a feature under each person to at least show the time zone, so we could have a good idea of what our differs are in hours. Better to know when most are asleep that way.

Can't believe no pics....not even from a crowded driveway entrance, maybe this was all made up....

Nicky, I don't remember any pix ever of this party, which happens every year I think, but obviously it's been announced this year becos of Casamigos Tequila.

My guess is that if we get any pix at all they will be vetted by all concerned and probably go out under the Casamigos banner.

As it's a private resort the only shots you'll get are from boats out at sea monitoring the beach, or at the airport from paps with long lenses just waiting to sell to the likes of Mailonline. Hence, the Aniston shots out there

Ah they did it in the resort. I thought at his home at Cabos that's why I found it weird that there are no pics from people getting in and out from the driveway/entrance. 

Anyway I guess most of us heard from the "annual party" the first time when the article above was posted. Maybe they just wrote "annual" but in reality it is not. Or pagesix gave us first hand information. LOL Guess we never really know.

So next year we will will watch it more closely right   

Don't think anyone (other than those invited) is allowed access to his driveway, and I don't know but I would take a bet that those who run the resort put on all sorts of privacy restrictions........

Yes true PAN, I don't meant inside the drive way. I meant outside. Like when Rande Gerber and Cindy attended the other Casamigo Party month ago. That was private too. But you saw people arriving. Or at least cars arriving LOL. Or when President Obama came to George's house. You saw nobody but at least cars arriving LOL. 
I don't think privacy restrictions would stop those paps. But I'm sure the resort have amazing security   They know how to keep everything hidden. Maybe it was just a little private party under friends.  I expected something big the way as it sounded.

Guess I'm in the minority, but I actually LOVE the name Rande (spelled with an "e"). I don't like the name "Randy" as much ....I mean it sounds nice, but the spelling difference makes it not as cool to me.
