Big time! I added a generous slosh of grand marnier to it, just to be sure!

Actually, it's the best mulled wine I've ever made and even my German friends said it was good, so somehow it all worked out ok. Think I'm still drunk now.

Everything is right as rain again, thanks and I actually got all my cooking done, which always takes days to prepare our traditional Christmas dinner. Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family! I hope all went well with your festivities today and that you, your hub and the children had a great day....and that your feet and/or back doesn't hurt too much!

Wish I was drunk, what a day, almost midnight and I still have 2 children awake, refusing to give into the idea that Christmas Day is about to finish.

They had a lot of fun which in turn allows me to relive my childhood in a way watching their smiles all day long. Santa and us picked some nice pressies so they were delighted. They were spoiled ridiculously by their Aunties/Uncles/Cousins but they made me proud, tomorrow they are packing up their old (but in good condition) toys and books and donating them. Huge family get togethers don't always mean harmony so I was dreading today a little but it turned out to be one of the best Christmas's, just everyone having fun, relaxing and enjoying the moment so Im very grateful for that - lots of special memories were made today.

Hi Lighter, that's really good news that all is good again. I took the easy way out, very little food prep for Christmas, I chose to bring desserts which I love to make so that was easy. My hubbies family being Italian don't do the traditional Christmas that Im used too, no ham, turkey etc but plenty of roasted lamb on a spit and various pasta dishes, way too much delicious food. Im in my loose comfy pyjamas now, think all 3 kids are finally asleep, yippee now Im off to bed soon, getting too old to exist on only 3 hours sleep. Hope you are having a nice time with all that Christmas Food you're tucking into too....

I have done that on their behalf for many years now, this is the first time that they suggested we should do that. Usually we do it before Christmas but ran out of time this year.

It's Me ~ great that your Italian Christmas lunch turned out so enjoyable, including your cooking.

I'm trying Ocean and Its me and believe me at times it's very trying!!! I can't stand greed so although I want them to have the toys they desire, all of them know they have to wait for birthdays or Christmas for really special toys or games. I can't complain really my 2 eldest saved every cent they earned throughout 2013 doing chores and visits from tooth fairy and waited till Today to ask if they could please spend a little of it. They spent $15 each were happy and still have over $200 in savings.

I put on 3,5 Kilos during the last 3 days.   

I know I was eating a lot...ok maybe I was eating none stop...but 3,5 Kilos...oh boy    

I can't motivate myself to go to the gym. I like my couch. What to do????

Good on you Mel- Im happy to say despite eating copious amount of delicious Italian Food for 3 days now I too have lost 3kg, no idea how - unless my body likes pasta - eggplant parmigiana, lamb on a spit, prawns salads on a daily basis.

Feeling very sad today - Michael Schumacher F1 Champion is in critical condition with a head injury that required surgery after hitting his head on a rock whilst skiing in the French Alps. Both Hubby and I are huge huge fans and saw him race many times. Hoping he pulls through xx

Yes very sad news. It is all over German news of course. Kind of shocking. At the beginning it didn't seem so bad as he was awake when he got flown to the hospital but then things got worst. Tomorrow we will know more. The family wants to give a statement tomorrow. Let's hope for the best.

I can only imagine that it would be all that's on the news where you are Nicky - Im hoping for the best. Apparently family giving a Statement at 10.00am their time. I still remember when his car went off the track at Melbourne right in front of me, I was screaming like a school girl and he looked over and smiled at my enthusiasm. Our sons first romper was a special edition Ferrari one and his room to this day still has Schumi posters and Ferrari teddy bears - (yep we are fans of him and his talent)

Hopefully the medics got to problem in his brain in time....a bleed or clot.
Our Richard Hammond of Top Gear survived a horrendous head injury a few years ago, so hopefully
Schu will too.

Thanks Jo, everyone thought the press conference will bring some good news but after the press conference the news were worst. At the moment the status is like that. He maybe is going to die as the brain injuries are very bad or he will have remain damages for example like being partly paralysis. Full recovery would be a wonder. That's really sad. The first 48 hours are always critical everyone hopes for better news tomorrow.
