Blanchett: No fuss from Clooney

Cate Blanchett enjoyed working on The Monuments Men
Cate Blanchett has described George Clooney as a “no fuss” director.
The Oscar-winning actress – who is about to try her hand at directing herself – joins an all-star male cast in The Monuments Men, directed by and co-starring George.
Cate revealed: “He’s s unpretentious and workman-like. Just really clear and simple, no fuss.
“It was a really fun film. With Bill (Murray) and Bob Balaban and working with Matt Damon again, and with George, it was fantastic.”
The Monuments Men also stars John Goodman, Jean Dujardin and Hugh Bonneville, and tells the true story of a crew of art historians and museum curators who unite to recover renowned works of art stolen by the Nazis before Hitler destroys them.
Cate is tipped for another Oscar nomination for her portrayal of a selfish, dislikeable woman experiencing a nervous breakdown when she loses everything in Woody Allen’s new film Blue Jasmine.
She said of the awards buzz: “There’s a new film released every minute, so you can probably ask that to the next girl too!”
